Just recieved the Decadent Vapours Christmas Sample Pack, and, even though we're still a week and a half away from Christmas, I couldn't resist slipping the bag open and having a quick pre-crimbo preview....

Cranberry
I already have this as a concentrate so I am familiar with it. It's a fairly accurate approximation of the fruit - slightly dry and tart. It's nice, but not as nice as DV's superior (in my opinion) Redcurrant juice. Made me wish I'd ordered some Roast Chicken (in the absence of any Turkey) at the same time as I can see that alternating between the two would give that perfect Christmas dinner effect.

Mince Pie
Easily my favourite of the lot. Deliciously flavoured with a hint of spice and not too heavy on the dried fruit.

Christmas Pudding
Maybe it's me, and my jaded palate, but I couldn't really taste the pudding at all as it is swamped with Brandy Butter - that's all I can really taste. It's very rich and buttery, a bit too buttery for me, but then I find DV's Apple Pie too buttery - so if you're a fan of that juice you might very well love this. I should warn you that it takes forever to leave the atty - possibly it's a flavour best served by a dedicated cartomizer.

Peter's Chocolate Orange
I have to confess that I really don't like chocolate flavoured juices. Having said that this one isn't too bad. Peter's Chocolate Orange? Tastes to me more like Terry's!

Cognac
This should be familiar to some of you as it's been available for some time (I believe it flies under the name of "Brandy" at TW). It's very pleasant and almost warming. Again perhaps it would be nice to alternate this with some Habana Reserve - Brandy and Cigars? It has to be done. It seems that having two PVs on the go is the way forward this Christmas!

All in all this is a great seasonal offering. At £11.95 it's not too pricey, and it's the perfect stocking filler for the vaper in your life — or even as a selfish present to yourself. I'm putting it away until Christmas day now - I'll hang it on my tree and leave it until after the Queen's speech, a couple of rows, a bit of crying, a game of charades and the Doctor Who Christmas Special!
