It's a weighty question...
Somewhat unexpectedly, She Who Must Be Obeyed and I shall be taking a holiday shortly. In her case, it is well-earned. In mine well needed. In both cases, there will be e-smoking supplies.
And the planning of the trip has proved difficult. Not the flights and accommodation, although it has to be said that booking the flights required more thought than had been the case in previous years. Why? Because, this year, before we booked, I had to check each carrier's web site to discover whether or not they allowed the use of e-cigs in-flight. Of course, the research was limited by the availability of carriers to our destination. Actually, that narrowed it down to two.
One was the airline we used last year. The one with the captain who backed up the stewardess who, upon landing and debarkation, spotted me taking a crafty (not really) drag off a 510 and blowing a moderate plume, told me that it wasn't allowed to "use one of them" (I think she meant "one of those" - but I forgave her) as it could cause the aeroplane to crash. He wouldn't accept the compliment I casually tossed off, that he must be an exceptional pilot, as I'd been dragging on the thing for the full four and a half hour flight, much like the lady across the aisle, and the plane had been remarkably stable.
The other has categorically stated that e-cigs are not to be used on its flights. So guess which one we booked. Yes, we didn't just book it, we..... (you know how that bit goes...)
No, the flight bookings weren't the problem. It's the kit.
I know four eGo batteries and four eGo XL batteries are going to be packed (the 510PCC will be in my carry-on, together with some stealth juice and a satin silver ballpen to appear to be chewing). I know I'll be packing some eGo XL cartos - but how many? What will the x-ray operators at the airport make of a suitcase that has a small stock of hypodermics and syringes in it?
Do I take the DBSB, the Buzz, the Omega? That means two chargers, one for the 18650s and the other to handle RCR123As the Buzz takes.
How much juice? Last year I took 120ml and only brought 40ml back. This year, though, there's no chance of me falling off the wagon - so I'll take 240ml, and make sure the XL cartos are full before we fly... But how many cartos??
And 901 and 510 atomisers. Five of each?? Of both standard and low resistance?? And how many eGo XL cartos??
Drip tips - don't forget the drip tips. And will the Precious L + JD kit make it here before we go? Had I better get some more 18650s? and maybe some more 123As? More eGo XL batteries, and maybe a couple of the USB ones??
And how many XL Cartos??
What's the baggage allowance again? I can manage with a couple of pairs of shorts and three shirts....
