Why on earth did I buy this?

Actually a fair question:

I dont like devices with electronics in, I prefer mechanical devices.

I dont like tanks much - never found one that gives the flavour I get from straight atomisers or my Bulli A2.

I don't like things that light up.

Well I bought it because, rather than in spite, of these things. When I...

The Super T Precise Plus 18350 - Part 2

Using the Precise Plus

The blurb for the Precise Plus 18350 says it is engineered for the AW IMR 18350 - "sod that for a box of sweeties" thought I, "I've got a set of four brand new orange Ultrafire XSL 1200mah (more like 1000mah in reality - they ARE Chinese) 18350 batteries - I'm using those!"

However when I...

The Super T Precise Plus 18350 - Part 1

Posted by prof beard , 23 October 2011 - - - - - - · 1,511 views

Well, I've managed to restrain myself ever since January 2010 (when I bought my Super Six) but I've given in and bought another Super T device - no I didn't need it - this was a pure case of WANT!

David makes, in my opinion, just about the best engineered vaping kit around, and after reading the following about the new Precise Plus range, I...

The Touchwood Mini

Posted by prof beard , 23 October 2011 - - - - - - · 1,352 views

Again at UK Vapefest 2011, I was taken by the Touchwood stand, which had a number of their wooden mods arrayed on it, I'm not really a "wood man" but the smaller of the two devices looked so neat and well made, and I enjoyed chatting to Ian as well, so I succumbed...

So, this is what I...

Garry Dibley Box Mod v3

As one of the first 30 vapers to arrive at UK Vapefest 2011 I was given a Garry Dibley Box Mod v3. Much appreciated and thanks Garry!

This a simple and very small black plastic box:

It has a button for activation, a 510 atomiser fitting, and LED to show when it is working, and a useful power of/on...

Cisco Aero and HH.357 Atomisers - Part 2 - Following the instructions and using them

Posted by prof beard , 15 October 2011 - - - - - - · 889 views

The Aero

OK - so I blew out the primer, dripped 5 drops of e-liquid into the atomizer. AS instructed, I gave the liquid 30 seconds or so to soak in and wet the coil, and then dripped another 2-3 drops...

I then screwed the Aero into my Apex Alpha Ultra (with RES) and fitted a Super T Whistle Drip...

Screwing things onto the Minno

Here is the Minno with a Cisco 306 fitted:

As you can see, the atomiser dosn't screw "flush" with the fitting - don't...
