I’ve been reflecting on my own vaping habits and expenditure and the state of the e-cig market and have been wondering if I’m turning into a “stick-in-the-mud”
I only own three e-cig models – Screwdrivers Mk 1 and 2 and the Super Six from Super T. These devices have a lot in common:
- simple
- mechanical
- well made and durable
- bottom button
- no lights etc
I also use them all at 3.7v(4.2v) and although I try out all sorts of atomisers and cartos (using adapters) – I largely stick to the 901/4075 atty.
I don’t drip or dip, I use regular carts with standard filling… I don’t clean attys or carts – I just use them and bin them.
To me – a simple device with a simple atty/cart pairing delivers what I need. I do use the occasional LR 901 atty, but in general have no great urge for “voltage-based entertainment”. So things like: variable voltage, auto-juice-feed, multiple batteries, faffing about refilling things that are not designed to be refilled (cartos), hold little attraction.
I go out with – one of my e-cigs, one spare battery, one spare atty/cart, and a 5ml bottle of juice. I top my cart up when it needs it – seems simple and uncomplicated…
All the new variable things and feeder systems and assorted electronic complications just smacks of more to go wrong to me – why bother – there are loads of juices I haven't tried, I’ll spend my money on those…
Or am I just getting to be an old git?

I personaly think you have it spot on,i have mod after mod after mod and some never get used at all, had the lr atties, there not for me, i use mainly a juice fed box now and it serves my needs, i have the shiny mods for when i want to use them, but day to day its the jackbox.
Ive also recently been using just atties and prefilled carts.
So you have summed up vaping perfectly.
