Well well, yesterday i was round at mums who is a smoker and to my surprise she asked to try my ecig. Talk about shock when she asked as she is one of those people who is very stuck in her ways.
Anyway i handed her the ecig and she tried it. First vape she pulled a face but she tried again and then said hmmm that flavour is nice what is it? I told her it was cherry menthol and she took a another vape and smiled. She then said i was wanting to light up a cigarette so lets see if my craving goes away. She took one more vape and handed it back to me.
A couple of minutes later she said the craving is going and asked if i could sort her out an ecig to try to see if she can get along with it. Luckily i have spare kit and said of course.
Now the setup i was using was an ego battery with a 306lr atty and a cannon drip tip as i love dripping. Anyway i nipped home grabbed my tool box with my kit in and went back round to her house. I setup an egot and egoc tank system for her to try. She tried both but said the flavour and sensation on her throat was not as good as before so i set her up with the same setup as me for dripping. She tried it and liked it again.
I ran her through how to drip with tips on what to look for ie, drying out of the atty and so on then made her up some juice menthol and cherry menthol and left her to it.
This morning she calls me to say she is loving it, she tried a normal ciggy after 8 hours of using the ecig and said it tasted foul, good news
I went round before to see her, she has cleaned out her ashtray, put away her fags in the draw and got herself a little tub for her juices !
I am so pleased she is giving this a go, she is 60 this year and not in the best of health so yes as i said i am really happy. So is my dad, he is a none smoker and is really hoping the house will stay smoke free as its better for both of them.
Fingers crossed she keeps enjoying it.
