DELRIN BLACK (Cheap , Light Weight)

Aluminum Anodised Clear (Grey , Cheapish Light Weight)

Aluminum Anodised Brushed Stainless Steel Effect (Medium , Light Weight )

Surgical Stainless Steel (Expensive , Heavy)

Brushed stainless steel effect would be the dogs danglers mate .......ps the punch device works a treat thanks

Would have to be steel or clear anodised for me, I have shiny mods and delrin doesn't look as good as metal :)

i wouldn't want anything made from Aluminum in direct contact with my juice....so the delrin or stainless would be my choice.
and I will also add justincase is a total nut case IMO who will stomp over whoever posts here

Anodized might be nice with colour matched tubing or a anodised sleeve with juice window over the tube.

I was ignorant on the subject of anodizing, having just read up on it, yeah it would be good, i think i would still like the stainless if the price difference wasn't massive.

Delrin, Its cheap easy to work and will not scratch or wear the tank threads like metal will. If you are adding the knurling will this not be hard to do with stainless ?

On looks alone stainless steel. But the cost will be high.

Having thought about it - for looks, stainless steel....maybe aluminium, but would have to see them as I can`t visualise it at the moment

but I finally voted Delrin for weight (I can notice the balance is off even with a steel drip tip - so I gave them away)

& cost (would rather have 3 or 4 Delrins than just one pretty shiny steel one for the price)

In an ideal world, I`d have two of each...naturally :good:

That`s a good point Steffijade, I`m more inclined to go for a screw now than a pull after trying both - I wouldn`t like to go backwards in this instance.

Seriously though, if it were possible to get brushed aluminium endcaps and keep the threaded tube, that sounds like a winner to me. One of the big plus points of the V3 for me was being able to take the endcaps off easily to refill.

I could see where that was going as I was typing, yet chose to carry on regardless....but the screw ends are the big plus point of the V3 for me as well ;)

I`m not sure now about the aluminum parts, I haven`t got an issue with the black delrin to begin with, but aluminium would still be quite light and the idea of metallic parts is intruiging...if they weren`t double the cost or even more.

that bottom one looks a bit "gold" to me, is it just the image and is silver/grey in reality ?

Would steel ones even be able to have a cross-hatched grip cut into them ?

See 1ST post - Aluminum Anodised Clear (Grey , Cheapish Light Weight)

This is the reason I ask,,,,,,,,,,,, as people ask for things (not aimed at you just generally) , i.e clear anodised ali , then wonder why its Grey ! and not shiny

Remember that nothing will match stainless steel in the shiny category or wear category , but costs more and weighs more .

But option maybe Delrin if you want light weight SS if You want shiny .
