Just a heads up - it seems that after the upgrade all the notification settings have been reset.

You will need to go to http://ukvapers.com/...a=notifications and set your desired options. This needs to be done even if you were getting email notifications prior to the upgrade, as they will no longer work until you do this.

I know many of us rely on the notification system so thought I'd better point this out.

would this have anything to do with why i dont see any PM stuff at the top right of the page any more..

Possibly Trog - though if you're using the default theme, it may also be because the notification area is at the top left.

Scratch that, I see in the other thread you're using the IP.Board theme, and the notifications should indeed appear at the top right.

So yeah, use the link above and adjust your settings - it's probably worth everyone doing that really.

i used to see PM stuff prominently displayed at the top of everything else on the top right.. now i see recent blog entries with nothing about PMs.. there is a little button i can click.. i will have a shufty.. if i have to click buttons to see things i aint gonna notice messages..

In the IP.Board theme, it's on the black bar right up the top, next to your name. If you have notifications in the queue, it should display a number over either icon (one for messages (PM's) and one for general notifications).
