and me uncle lets me vape in the house, and ever since most vendors i bought stuff from have been putting warnings and crap in with me purcheses and av showed me uncle he,s gone worried again and quite frankly so have i, wer did these vendors get ther infomation from to say that eliquid and ecigs are dangerous? wen all i keep hearing is ppl saying thers no conclusive evidence, its like me bein on a plane handing out shark attack leaflets and saying thers no conclusive evidence but u could get attacked by a shark, are these vendors delibratly tryn to scare us into not vaping? do these vendors have a hidden agenda? i also hear ther doin it to keep an organisation happy? since wen is it good to keep the shark attack organisation happy about planes wen sharks live in water or apparantly live in water as thers no evidence to support anything at this time, yes sharks can kill so can cigs but cigs and sharks and ecigs only have 1 thing in common they all have nicotene or is the general public bein hidden from the truth that the vendors arnt telling us?

sharks have nicotene i believe, untill thers a proven study to disolve my facts about sharks, to which ther hasnt been 1 due to ppl thinking it would be a waste of knowlage and money and that we shouldnt do stupid investigations espeshly into the inner workings of the insane minds, then my shark fact stands

They have to do it to cover themselves I think.

Vaping is better for you than smoking, fact.

It is, as I understand it, akin to all the ''side effect'' warnings on all your prescription medication.. try reading the list for paracetamol.

One thing for sure though, don't ignore the warnings about nicotine and children/animals. You do have to be a bit careful there.

Likely long term effects of smoking include cancers, chronic heart, circulatory and respiratory diseases, heart attack and strokes, gum disease, and invariably a premature death after years of chronic allied illness.

As far as we all know the same inevitable smoking related illnesses will not arise from vaping, but it's fair that product warnings are given, it's the responsible thing to do. That's my take on it.

every where i have looked for info on ecigs have said it is completely safe and a recomended alternative to smoking. That's why I have decided to try it.
I believe i read some where on the forum that some one/group are doing tests into ecigs and eliquids to find out if they are harmful, but they have completed it yet.
Dont quote me on that i may have imagined it.

Look, there is potential harm in everything if you want to find it, and so called bloomin experts do! Salt, sugar, sweeteners, bacon, beef, cheese, butter, veg oil, coffee, alcohol, additives, preservatives, even vitamins and so called health supplements!!! The list goes on and on and on.... The guy who sells you eggs is only selling you eggs! He doesn't give you a 'health warning' saying 'please don't consume more than 'x' eggs a day or you'll defo fur up yer arteries and likely have a heart attack or stroke'... Neither is he trying to hide these dangers from you... he knows too many eggs ain't good for you, but he just sells eggs, and has to assume that the purchaser will consume responsibly...

I think we have to go back to comparing the dangers of smoking fags, versus the benefits of not smoking fags and vaping instead. Of course, the best option is don't smoke and don't vape! But as this is a vapers forum, well.... wrong forum! ;)

The safety literature that you receive with your orders Emtronea, is because of regulations.

Nicotine is a poison and needs to be treated with caution. Used in a safe and sensible manner, you should have no problems.

At least we don't put a picture of half a lung in, like you'll find on a ciggy packet :)

ASSACTLY

What?

''Exactly'' I think.

For what it is worth I have never seen warnings about PG or VG on any of the stuff I have bought. There could well be some out there though, Like I said earlier, check the warnings on your paracetamol leaflet, Then don't take them and suffer in pain if you are worried about the warnings.

The MHRA, Tobacco Industry and Smoking Cessation Industry (Big Pharmaceutical Companies) are all looking for a reason/excuse to ban (or at least Governmentally regulate) electronic cigarettes - so the warnings are placed on e-cigarette products to comply to the current regulations and to make the process of self-regulation within the Ecig industry more apparent. Without this effort, the MHRA (and the above self-interest groups) would be much more likely to get their wish - at minimum Government regulation of Ecig's at worst an out and out ban!

If this compliance seems to be 'Off putting' to new Vapers, then that is an unfortunate consequence of extending and possibly ensuring, the survival of our current E-cigarette Market - Viva Vaping! :vape:
