Aloha
Saw the Chibi Carto Tank from Parkes Vapers in the US a week ago having seen the delay for UK distributed tanks and thought they might be worth ago at $13 delivered (about £8.50)! Ordered late on the 23rd and arrived today (29th) - so 5/6 days from the US is pretty good! :good:

Chibi Tank, Lil Mama and ACT v1

The Chibi is a dinky ickle 3ml carto tank is a Polycarbonate tube with a rubber vinyl grommet at each end and fits either a standard or LR Boge carto - which comes pre-punched (2 holes) and fitted (it should fit one of the shorty DCC's too) and the top of the carto sticks out of the top making it easy to fit a drip tip! I ordered the standard Boge which the Provari tells me is 2.8Ohms.

To fill, just fill a syringe to 3ml, insert the needle (or Spiky Thing) down the side of the top grommet, and top up. Took exactly 3ml, with possibly a drop to spare.

This a really simple, basic designed tank and as cheap as chips. It works great and is the 1st tank of all the ones i've bought (ACTv1-3, Liquinantor, and Lil Mama/Big Daddy) which hasn't leaked at all from the moment i've filled it - not even a stray drop! :good:

This doesn't look out of place on a TorneGova

or even my preferred Echo Auto neither!

OK it's not as aesthetically pleasing as me Lil Mama, with the tube not being as evenly cut and the rubber vinyl looking a tad bunged in - but if thee want to try a Carto tank, and are on a budget, or are looking for something that looks less out of place on a smaller device, I'd give this a full 5 out of 5 so far! :vape:

In fact, i've just ordered a XL 5ml (which comes with a Smoktech DCC fitted and still only $8!) to beat the rush
:balanced:
One thing i should add is the payment method: I confirmed the order, then got an email invoice, and the payment method is via We Pay not Paypal, which accepts debit cards - no hassle just a different method to what i'd used before - so thought i'd best reassure folk who maybe wondering! ;)

Dude if you are ordering an XL, fancy adding a second and splitting the shipping?

Looks a nice tank Digi. Is the carto a nice snug fit? Some of these tanks I've seen sometimes slide up and down the carto and need a big drip tip to stay in place. No mention of a flange?!;-)

Nice Daewoo btw.

Well it has arrived.....

Looks pretty good on the Mini-don, but I'm not sure if it looks better than the lil mama.....

What do you think?

Not had chance to try the new tank yet, as it is being left for a while to soak juice up.

The Chibi XL might just look a bit odd - unless thee take a leaf out of the lass from the youtube and use a normal sized carto?

I've spent the day really running the Chibi through it's paces and actually encouraging it to leak - to no avail!
I've thrown the Echo Auto around (literally), dropped it, shaken and spun it and not a drop!

As an update to the materials i just received an email of Mary from Parkes Vaping:

Quote

Scott, Thought it my be easier and quicker to reply from my personal email. Yes they are polycarbonate and I have been using them with cinnamon vapes menthol vapes citrus vapes etc. and have not had any crack yet. Before we started making them we did much research and everything we found shows that they are pg/vg safe. The ends are made of vinyl. Many ask if they are rubber and that is a big NO because rubber will leach into the juice which is not good at all so we make sure we only use vinyl.

So have edited previous post to include this information!
:balanced:

Parkes also mix their own ejuice and offer Bespoke options fa mixes (%PG/VG) on all thier flavours - Mary will shortly be offering sample packs so make the most of the postage (all $5 ) by trying some - couldn't resist the SirOgre juice

Update on Parkes Vaping's site - both the standard and XL Tanks are now available without the carto for a mere $5.50! :good: (edit should have been $ not £)
Making them easily the cheapest Tank around and still not had a single drip of a leak!

I'm in no rush buddy, I appreciate you adding it on your order.

I'm still in vape heaven with the 3ml tank to be honest, it lasts me 3 days.

The 6ml should do me for a week!!!

Just to point out the Chibi XL is a 5ml not a 6ml tank - and if it's like the standard then it'll be spot on 5ml (give or take a drop) too!
