Not a ban yet but they may be planning one.

Its all about money really and extra tax revenue.

A few of the Greek lads on ECF made it seem rather like it had already happened, they were talking of police seizing juice containing nicotine already on Monday morning. As far as I can tell hardware and zero nic is fine, but let's face it, there's about as much point in zero nic juice as there is in alcohol-free beer, so it's a vaping ban in reality..

There is some good news - there was so much fuss about the EU falsely reporting the feedback about SNUS that it has agreed to reconsider the SNUS ban.

Well not sure where that's coming from Maz as I was vaping in a police station here this morning as I had to renew my residents permit. The police sergeant was very interested in my ecig as they are not allowed to smoke inside the station now so told him where to get one.

Maybe Crete is different.


Had to go to town after so had some lunch at a taverna and vaped away with the smokers.

We are working hard on this atm, with some Greek vendors who want to join ECITA, so hopefully, we can help them put it right. It is our understanding that there is no ban at them moment, but research is ongoing. We shall keep you posted when there is any news. Although this is 'UK' Vapers, what happens in other territories affects us all - especially within the EU, so it is important that we keep abreast of other situations, as well as our own.

And, maybe Sweden is gearing up for the extra revenue ?

New Taxes within EU!

Due to a tax increase on tobacco
issued by the swedish government
many products will get a makeover.
Manufacturers will change weights,
& price to fit the new taxes better.
The new taxes will be in place
January 1st, 2012.


*Old tax is ca 37,09 EUR/kg, and
new tax will be ca 42,17 EUR/kg.

If there was any likelihood of a ban I would be buying several liters of the highest strength nic I could get my hands on, vg pg and flavourings would be obtainable anyway

I think you'll find some UK vendors moving overseas, so you could still order but might have to wait a little while longer while it ships from somewhere like the channel islands.

(Banning of this alternative is a disgusting example of lobbyist's power and corruption. Cigarettes that are proven to kill, continue and electronic cigarettes proven to be 1000 times less harmful are banned! This sums up why so many people would vote for ending the EU, and all your privileged jobs with it!)
