The third January of UKVapers existance, brings forth the Annual UKVapers Awards. Last year the categories were;

Vaper of the Year

Campaigner of the Year

'Mod' of the Year

Promotor of the Year

Reviewer of the Year

Vendor of the Year

Forum Contributor of the Year


Are there any new categories that we should include this year?

I like the New Product of the Year - which could include Tanks. Not so sure about 'Miser' of the year and maybe modder/innovator could take over from 'Mod' of the year.

What do other people think?

For the newbies and not so newbies who can't be arsed to search can we list last years winners as I'm not entirely sure what 'promoter' (for eg) means

Vaper of the Year - the personality of the year!

Campaigner of the Year - the group, company or person which has put the case for ecigs to people that matter.

'Mod' of the Year - a device that is not mass produced which has enhanced your vaping experience.

Promotor of the Year - the group, company or person that has most effectively spread the word about ecigs to smokers.

Reviewer of the Year- the person who has entertained and informed the most about the myriad of devices/things out there.

Vendor of the Year - the best ecig vendor in your opinion.

Forum Contributor of the Year - the person who has made your online experience pleasurable during 2011.

Think that a lot of folk will vote for the Provari as Mod of the year which is a tad unfair on the home grown talent like Mikro, Throathit, Gary and others. Could there be a home grown or UKV mod of the year then?

Last year the GD Passthrough beat the eGo!!! (even though the eGo shouldn't have been nominated in the first place!)

I actually found this quite difficult!

I may have voted for Rusty twice and blended two categories but hell I'm a camVIP supporter and I'm a vaper and pub goer

For me...

Vaper of the Year - Romastino for his saying it how it is, his straight, informative reviews and generosity to newbies. A great personality on the forum (and a cool accent)

Campaigner of the Year - Rusty for CamVIP

'Mod' of the Year - The Touchwood (honourable mention the mikropipe)

Promotor of the Year - Rusty for CamVIP

Reviewer of the Year - IGetcha the hi def king (honourable mentions Romastino, Mufftrix, Prof Beard and newbie reviewer easystreet)

Vendor of the Year - Vapourworld (honourable mentions..loads.. but for Grizwalds juices alone Vapescape)

Forum Contributor of the Year -The most difficult..but for his continuous willingness to offer advice to newbies, his sharing of information about little known about mods (heard of the GLV2 mini anyone?) and juices from the US and other places, and for the way he writes like he probably talks (how are thee?)..digicig

I'd like to vote also for Wayne for his fantastic achievement with Vapefest 2011 (even though I couldn't make it) and the fantastically enjoyable work of all of the VTTV crew..but no categories seem to fit
