When I smoked a cold wouldn't leave for 6-7 months. I've just got over a blinder and it lasted about a week and a half and I vaped home made menthol juice all the way through 70-30 pg-vg. Vaping = progress in my book

Brilliant topic, I am just starting a cold now, I should have ordered some menthol liquid, I'm going to do so right away The only thing I have changed is that PG liquid is still dry on my throat, which isn't great with the sore throat I have right now, so I have switched to VG for now ..

I haven't had a cold/flu for the last 10 years, and smoked more fags than a recently retired beagle! But I try to avoid the chimps if I can, and wear a bird-flu mask when shopping.

Well, a week on and I'm as sick as a dog. I don't think I've been this ill for years, even my family have stopped making jokes about man flu and now just give me sympathetic looks.

However... It's yet to go to my chest so I've still cheated it as far as I'm concerned

Hope you feel better soon, I'm feeling pretty poorly now too, but I tried a real ciggie earlier and it utterly disgusting, but I can still taste my e-cig (coconut juice) so its all good here. This could really turn me off the analogues finally I hope so

Thanks Wildcat. I think I've finally made a turn for the better and now the wife is coming down with it we'll see how much of a man flu it is hehe

Pleased you feel better, I feel appalling, but I am hoping by the weekend I am feeling better... no I swear I feel for you, this is not man flu !! haha yes the coconut ejuice is my saviour, can't taste must of the others unfortunately..

In fact, it might have helped as it's a steam inhalation when all's said and done - wow just think of that - vaping might actually be something that can do you good ...

Vaping right now as I type - nice herbal zero nic mix cut with a little vg / deionised water base and no irritation or cough.

I vaped with a menthol juice. Very soothing for a sore throat I thought & tasted great too. 'Proper' smoke tasted awful & hurt!!
