yeah... why bother with these active forums and loads of different categories, let's have one MASSIVE facebook thread where everything would get lost forever!!! Possibly the worst idea I've seen on here!

There IS a world existing outside facebook, a world where people don't feel the need to share their innermost thoughts every 5 sodding seconds!!!!

If this was facebook I'd be posting my status as " :( " ......... this would be followed by 50 of my friends posting "awww, what's up Maddy?" and me replying with "I needed to refill with some RY-Hi5 'cos the APL was empty". This would be followed by as many replies of "Yay, good for you!"

Imagine everyone doing that!!! :hohum-shaking head-smiley-thing:

If people can get facebook online they can also get to see a PROPER forum and discussion!

(/rant) Right I'm off to post on my facebook page about how low I'm feeling right now, but will soon be cheered up by all my friends "virtually" hugging me and asking "what's wrong".

Yours in despair! Maddy. :/

The above was almost perfect, changed it with red text slightly ;) It is hilarious all these ''friends'' people have.... I did an experiment a while ago to prove a point.... I added random people as friend who I have never met... a surprising number of people accepted me as a friend..... to my further surprise hardly any of them asked how I knew them or who I was.....

Safe to say I have never liked facebook and I wish it would hurry up and die like myspace and all the others.

I'd agree generally that you're right about imaginery friends but that's not so in my case.

I've got around 80 people on my FB friends list, they are all real friends.

I have met every one of them in real life, most of them I have known for many, many years. They live locally, they ive all over the country but whenever possible I meet them in the pub, I meet them at the rugby, I meet them on camping weekends at bike racing, I meet them when we play in bands together etc.

Every single one is known to me and every single one is on my friends list because they are a real friend.

I agree this is usually not the case though. :)

Facebook has its place I think. In my case its good for keeping in touch with family and seeing what they're up to.

I don't think however that this forum needs a facebook page.
Be nice to your kids they'll choose your nursing home.

I buy from anyone who sells good products at the right price, even quit kit vendors.

The texting on there is handy, but that's about all.
