Chris Birks aka eciggyman has organised a VIP and Curry Night at the Loco in Haxey (NE Lincs). It would be great if we could have a late Winter meet up with a few ales and a warming curry. Please come along and support this event and support the pub :)

The Loco is a truly lovely old themed pub in the charming village of Haxey.

It is in the "Good Pub Guide" and always has two guest real ales on pump.

The landlord (Ziggy) cooks authentic Indian cuisine and I have secured a special deal of just £5 a head, but he needs a figure of how many to cook about a week before the event.

If you wish to stay the night he has seven absolutely gorgeous rooms
Tariff is £50 single room and £60 for a double, including breakfast.

If all goes to plan we should have a fabulous night in a really great,
unusual pub....Railway enthusiasts will love it!

It will be on Friday 24th February from 7.00 until 11.30 at The Loco, 31-33 Church Street Haxey Nr Doncaster DN9 2HY.

We hope to see a few of you there :)

Would like to be able to attend but typically, it coincides with my 25hr 'grueller' shift so the chances of making it aren't good. :(

This event is already booked and it would be wonderful if a number of vapers from Yorkshire, Humberside, NE Lincolnshire could suppot it. As the Landlord Ziggy is cooking food to order, he needs confirmed numbers by Valentine's Day so he can buy in the ingredients.

This event is a little off the beaten track but there is accommodation at the pub and close to it in the village.

Perhaps we could do our own version of the Haxey Hood the next morning, to burn off some of those calories :)

I've just remembered!!!

This venue is very close to the Robin Hood airport if any jet setters would like to attend :)

Only 3 weeks to go! Should be a fantastic night - Real Ale, Vaping, Curry and Accommodation all in one place - what is there not to like?? :wink:

Perhaps the missing a has something to do with it!!

How about having a pint or few, a curry, and a vape meet to make up for it - all three will get you steaming in one way or another :wink:

Hey up rusty I am really hoping to make this and maybe just maybe I will have my prototype T.rat with me to show off lol I had heard something was happening this month but to be honest i had trouble finding this thread so hopefully this little bump will go a long way to getting a few more interested

Had a massive clear out nearly all my shineys have gone currently growing again

Line v2 off for repair - GG Ufs V2 on route back to the USA

Ego-t - SDK x4 - Kick x 1 - My new favourite ----Sturm Mod ---- wow what a little beauty - Wizard Titanium now here and blimey its tiny

i only live a few miles from Finningley.
Do you have to pre book the curry or can you get something else off the menu ?

I think that there are around 10-12 people going so far but not all are having curries. We could do with a few more :)
