1. The adjustment pin leaks. I have contacted the thescot and siam-mods directly and though my notes were returned and promises made about fixing the issue, nothing has been done and the siam-mods factory never returned or acknowledged receipt of the emails despite being forwarded by thescot. The latest communication actually blamed me, without any request to return the suspect piece for examination, of cross threading the piece. The idea of the factory making one mistake in 200 is apparently unfathomable.
The adjustment pin is a good idea on the face of it but when the entire design is considered as near indestructable , the inclusion of a finely threaded plasticy piece and thin brass pin are an obvious achilles heal.
2.During use I have misfires due to the battery turning the pin and it breaking contact with the atomizer. It's annoying and requires taking it apart to retighten the pin.
3. This thing kills 306 atomizers. The overbuilt, too heavy body has taken out two cisco 306 atomizers so far. The reason I bought an overbuilt unit like this was for reliability but it actually works to reduce reliability. I've used the mini cube for about 2 months as my only vape and though I don't drop it often, it will take out the atomizer if that end hits the ground. I bought 3 and two have died this way.
That's it. I wouldn't buy another. I don't care for the treatment I've received by the company and I don't feel that the product is designed very well.

Ok i will try to reply to this in a decent manner.
The problem was noted and it is the first problem encountered and reported similar to yours.
Your e-mails were replied to and a replacement part sent. The festive season may have delayed the postage to the US?. As i was about to reply to you telling you that we will send yet another replacement i noticed your reply
''you are worth a pile of turds then aren't you? thanks for wasting my time douchebag''.
The attack on my personal mail in this manner in this forum is uncalled for
I did suggest you may have cross threaded the plastic in the atty connection which is the only way i can see how it could leak and the replacement would be sent out.
If you tighten the centre pin before you screw on the top then by doing this the it is actually tightening the brass contact screw to the atty connection when threading on the top cap. I guess you can nit pick problems with most mods if you don't know how to use them properly. Finally i would suggest you stop blaming the mod for you dropping it. I'm sure its not the only mod that would break an atty if dropped.
You did live up to your threat of bad mouthing the mod on the forums and we will live up to our threat of sending you another replacement part.
Sorry we are not perfect but we are trying our best.
Edit to say that your last mail to the website was dated christmas eve and i do hope you excuse our UK centre for not replying on that day (I did) but i have been informed that it was packed and sent the day after christmas and a free drip tip added which you were aware of. The tip does not make up for any possible faults but we do try our best to please and rectify any problems with our products.
If dates are anything to go by when ordering things form the US to the UK when its not the festive season i personally would have given it more time to arrive before starting the assault but your entitled to your say.

I can only speak for the larger 18650 one that I had but it for the price one of the best mods you can buy?
I dropped and knocked mine and generally abused it while at work with no ill affect!
Yes possibly the atty adjustment could be improved from nylon to brass etc? But considering it early days and it being improved all the time I would not be hesitant to recommend it 100%
You are after all not paying GG prices for a lot of mod IMO?
It hits really well and I dripped with no leaking issues or any other issue while I had mine!
Just my honest opinion :-)

I can't think of any mod that would protect an atty from breaking if it landed atty end first.

I've had some threats before like -
"This product is crap and so is your answer!
This was my last order in your shop and trust me I'm gonna make you some publicity!"
"You are very welcome to make what publicity of it you wish.
Would you like to return it for an exchange or refund?"
or someone else -
"Simply not good enough, I will allow until Friday before taking this up with the community..."
"You can do what you like concerning whatever community..."
That's all you can do if peeps are unhappy... try and make 'em happy!

Thescot in my experience has been a superb member of the community, generous to the extreme.
When he was still making the screwdriver 18650 extensions I ordered one from him and it took an abnormal amount of time to arrive so I contacted him and he sent another out the very next day. The second extension arrived but then two days later the first arrived I PM'd him to offer to act as an middle man for his next order ie send on the extension to his next buyer, he just said I could have it if I needed it or send it on. The next person wanting one on his thread got it free
I recently ordered some tips from his site, 2 of one type and 1 of another but both normal tips. The UK dispatch guy made a simple mistake and only sent out 1 of the pair I ordered thinking it was a single item, I contacted thescot and the UK guy sent me out not just the missing tip but also a Flo-Tip.
Excellent service if you ask me.

If OP does not want said cube, I'd give it a home!
Love mine and slight seepage of juice through centrepin is easy solved with a condom 'washer' or similar. No issues either with any of my 1.5 or 1.8 Bauway 306's.....but my 306's are Bauways not Cisco

why do mods always break when i drop them? they should be indestructable! this is outrageous! it didn't even withstand a pounding with a hammer! well, the mod did, but the atty didn't... you should have told me the atty would break!

Maybe some of the faceless new members don't realise how futile their attempt to bad mouth well respected members/vendors is?
I personally haven't had any dealing with thescot, but I do read the threads on here enough to know he is a reputable and worthwhile member of our community and as soon as finances allow I'll be ordering several drip tips and tanks from him as I think his work is kick ass!
Sorry for the rant lol
Jon
Ps the cube looks awesome and I can't wait to get my hands on one :-)

@Heyoka Ok a couple of points....
1: The vendor.... thescot(Siam-mods ) is probably the single most vendor I would recommend to anyone prepared to listen. I have had several dealings with him and to say he is 100% on the money would be an understatement. He has offered to replace your parts (which may well be faulty – Christ I have bought a £2K TV before now which has been faulty) and thrown in freebies as well… How can you have a beef?
For me personally, if Siam-mods sell something that someone else does too (tanks, drip tips, for example) – I would ALWAYS buy from Siam-mods.
2: The mini cube… I have been hammering mine day in day out for 3 months now. NOT A SINGLE ISSUE AT ALL….. How can a well-constructed stainless steel tube be “over built” or “too heavy”? It is what it is. You could drive over it and it would be fine. It is the Chuck Norris of mods. You can’t blame the mod for breaking your atty when you drop it. That’s lame mate.

If you don't like it just sell it why get into a rage.
And btw dropping your mod? Really? You are blaming the mod because you can't keep it in your hands?
The mini cube is a supermod and build like a tank for its size.

Siam mods gets my vote for first-rate customer service, innovative mods and generally all-round nice guy.
Your bad-mouthing is wasted here dude!
Don't like it, go buy a US made Provari, but you'd be well-advised not to drop it

thanks for the rational response. these are expensive toys, so i can certainly understand the frustration.
nothing is guaranteed. trashing vendor customer service only pushes them away from these forums. we need them here providing all the insights and tips.
that said, as a future cube owner i actually appreciate the litany of /technical/ complaints. attack the design top to bottom. call it the worst overpriced piece of junk you've ever seen. that and the responsive dialog are a wonderful resource for all of us.
just leave out your take on the customer service. only my opinion.

you get nowhere talking or sending people crappy messages, i had a recent problem with a tank i purchase and the vendor was sending me messages that could be concieved as saying i dont have a clue at what im doing which can be annoying but i did not rise to it because he dont know me and know my level off knowledge, after several messages which where all civil, i sent it back to him, now he says it sorted its in the post comming home..simples.no getting angry or the hump just time consuming.
i think you need to act your age and not your shoe size...lol

Thanks for the kind words folks, we do try our best and i wouldn't have it any other way. Unfortunately i don't deal with the postage side of things but reply and forward any help i can where possible but i guess it's not enough for some people. In this instance everything was done as i would have expected should i have bought a mod and had issues from a seller. No e-mails to the website since Christmas eve to enquire regarding tracking number etc just a PM here yesterday and this post?
P.S. (heyoka) Just to reply to your insult i have to advise you that there was no instruction manual for the drip tip included with the package sent on the 26th Dec. If you require some help as to what end you vape from please ask nicely and i can always help but be warned they are not for those with limp wrists and if dropped will make you cry.
Sometimes good to know who your dealing with http://www.vapersfor...ead.php?t=34361 and you explain yourself very clearly in reply #26
