Ok, to clarify
for the first 3 months I was vaping I had it in my head that Ejuice contained
Nic, PG/VG or combinations--these are colourless
I read at some point that juice could become coloured by the oxidisation of the nicotine in the liquid.
Quite happy up to that point, I'm vaping 3 or (4 ingredients with flavour included) obviously.
Then Toby from I-vapour put up a post (cant find it at the minute) with a 'list of ingredients', then I thought WTF?, I had no idea that there could be that many chemicals in a juice,
At the minute I have various liquids, which range from clear, through very pale yellow, amber, I have a liquid which is peach in colour, and also a 'chocolate' juice which is the colour of black coffee,,so
I'm wondering if Juice has colour added to it, what are all the other ingredients for, what do they do, are they flavourings, colourings, preservatives, ceramide R's, pantene pro V's ?
I would like 'an expert' to add some enlightenment

Just to add, this post wasn't directed at Pinkvaper, her question merely jogged my memory, I've been meaning to ask this question for a wee while, and as it stands-yes I would be happy to vape 1 or 2 drops of beetroot juice added to say a tank, at least I'd know what the colouring was and where it came from, beetroot pigment is already added to all sorts of food products.

This is an example of some e-liquid ingredients.
(Please note that the few suppliers that list their ingredients on the bottle, they generally have an element of the ingredients that is referred to as 'other', or some kind of 'flavourings')
Here are the ingredients to the 'Camel' liquid I supply.
Most of the other PG liquids I supply are variants on this....
INGREDIENT NAME - DOSAGE %
Protovanol - 11,0
Ethanol - 5,0
Vanillin - 4,5
Vanilla tincture - 14
Rose oil - 1,9
Benzyl alcohol - 1,8
2-methylbutyric acid - 0,8
2-hydroxy-3-methylcyclopent-2-enone - 0,7
Piperonal - 1,7
Undecan-4-olide - 0,3
2-methylbutyraldehyde - 0,3
L-Nicotine -
High 1.6 | Medium1.1 | Low 0.6
Propane-1,2-diol - Make up deficiency (i.e. remaining %)

Whilst i can see the call for clear labelling in juice being relevant to some - the horse kinda left the stable with smoking

Protovanol - vanilla absolute
Ethanol - alcohol
Vanillin - all
Vanilla tincture - really
Rose oil - obvious
2-hydroxy-3-methylcyclopent-2-enone - nutty/liqourice flavour
Piperonal - pepper extract
2-methylbutyric acid - creamy flavour
Undecan-4-olide - peachy flavour
2-methylbutyraldehyde - fruity or cocoa flavour
i'm not sure why the benzyl alcohol is there though...

I'm aware of the fact there are a lot of chemicals in fags, I have no idea what the list of chemicals I have quoted above are, are for, etc

but this is supposed to be safer, that's the idea. we're making conscious health motivated moves, and not inhaling loads of chemicals would be part of that.
i know cigarettes are bad, that's why i don't smoke em any more

Inhaling lots of chemicals from fags, pollution and vaping will eventually cause death - however, if we don't inhale anything, we'll die quicker

Healthier does not always equate to a perception of safer - 95% of ALL foot problems in later life are due to wearing shoes - just about any kind of shoes - yet walk barefoot and folk say it's 'Dangerous'

The chemicals that we inhale in eliquid, give us the taste, smell, physical sensation and the all important vapour.
The chemicals we breathe in from someone's bottom just make us wretch
