Anyone had this problem for the last few weeks when i wake up in the night i have a horrid metal taste in my mouth i brush floss and use mouth wash before i go to sleep i vist the dentist regularly so not a problem with my teeth also i cant get rid of the primer taste/smell
I have blown the primer fluid out as much as poss even gave the atties a coke bath and boiled them but they still smell
Any advice please

PS i have even triednot using the mouth wash but still get the metal taste

If you have just given up the tobacco your gums may be bleeding a little bit (a common quitting symptom) this would build up overnight leaving a metallic taste in your mouth. This may also be the answer to your other question regarding primer smell as your sense of taste and smell may still be readjusting.

Edit: Vaping is quite drying as well so make sure you are drinking plenty of water as well to counteract this

It could be that the metalic taste of atties or carto's you use is usually masked by your juice. As that flavour disipates through time the metalic taste could be coming back. What juice and set up are you using? I've tried the new carto/atty combo from Vapourworld recently and found them very metalic tasting.

When you smoke your gums shrink and less blood flows too them, when you chuck the fags the blood comes back, gums start to repair themselves etc, weird stuff happens to your body when you stop smoking, and it differs from person to person. I was the same as you, weird taste in my mouth but I also had really bad bleeding gums and abcesses, so I put it down to that, lasted about 3 weeks if I remember correct

Thanks for your replies the bleeding gums make sense as i remember having a metal taste after i have a tooth extracted
I use a tornado tank i blow as much of the primer fluid out as i can but really strong smell
Can anyone recommend another tank system i could try

I actually found pumpcarts quit good. I think UK-Eliquid sell them. They just fit onto a 510 atty like a driptip but they hold about 1ml of juice. it's like direct dripping without the bottle. You just press the button and take a pull to suck juice into the atty now and then. Cheap enough to give a try too.

I still use tanks & Atty's in one form or another and to elimate the primer from new tanks/atty's I always ether rinse with hot water fallowed by a quick vodka rinse, blow excess out do a little dry burn then maybe repeat, direct drip about 4 drops down the spike/atty, fill cart/tank then prime tanks 510/ego( couple of sharp tokes without pressing the fire button until I see a couple of bubbles to eliminate air lock) then vape.
I agree with above post about the gums, after about 3 or 4 weeks stopping smoking my gums would bleed a little when brushing and used to wake up with bad taste / poo gob as I liked to call it and was very self concious but it soon passed.

I have some drip tanks and other type 510 tanks lying about (just need to find them) and if you want to give them a try pm me and will send you some FOC if you want to give thema go. But maybe consider trying a DCC tank as they are cheap and don't have the problem of primer nastiness. Hey StiG, you don't have a cart for the ego atty's that you'd like to swap for some juice do you? I aquired one recently and have no carts for it. I've got a coned one and a cylindrical one but it's the coned one I'm most interested in using. I've not got round to buying any.

Do you mean the Type A and do you want tank carts or normal atty carts ?

Im using the tornado tank at the moment i was wondering if there was anything simular that dosent have the horrid fluid in
