Good choice of bike, Animal :) And, a bloody good deal! :)
80 odd miles out of a full tank before reserve is not good though!

Managed to get out on the Black Thing for a couple of hours this afternoon, think I'm gonna have to buy a new centrestand, managed to grind a bit more of it away on the roundabouts.

Not sure if it's been decatted, I never asked. It's got the Arrow titanium end cans fitted already and they will give me the stock pipes too.

80 miles range is still better than the Husky SM610 I had a few years ago - that would barely cover 70. I think I had to have to AA come and refuel me in the middle of nowhere a few times, lol.

Just thought I'd add my name to the list of bikers.
Passed my DAS 4 years ago, bought a Suzuki V-Strom DL650, still got it, it does everything I want it to do, touring, green laning and peg scrapping. Can't fault it really but do kinda want a Blackbird or ZZR 1400, before I get too old.

I'm 51 .. last year I thought I would give the bikes a rest and get a nicer car, my neck sounds like a popcorn machine when I turn my head and I still think its from bloody helmets.
lasted 3 months off the bikes and bought a light open face.
cars don't make me grin and sing ocean ditties at the world.
