No juice burning and awsome flavour, and sounds like an Ducati motorbike lol.

But briefly first tear a strip of mesh, easyier than cutting and is always straight!, about 3mm wide and say 50mm long.
Then with a steel rule and a rag or jiffy bag lay the mesh on and place the rule along the length of mesh in the middle and press down and create a crease in mesh, which can then be fold down iys length to make it about 1.5mm thick.
Now you have the resistance like a normal coil, twist the no resistance wire round one end and I then wrap round coil 3 times to get length, unwind anf twist the other end round mesh.
Now wrap coil as normal, a tip is to wrap a no resistance bit of the coil round the wick to hold the coil in place and then you always get the end of coil in right place.
Fit as normal and I lay a strip of wick on top inside the ceramic.
Comes out at 1ohm or if you dont fold the mesh 2 ohms. Oh no oxidising!

My own efforts with SS mesh inside an Ody involved taking a piece of mesh the width of the inside of the ceramic cup (and just long enough to wrap around two pieces of stock wick), oxidising it in the usual way, then wrapping my coil around it as tightly as possible. I checked at this point that the resistance was still 1.5ohm, which it was, then I put it the lot inside the cup and sealed as normal. Then checked the resistance again, because my first few attempts at this it had gone wrong by this point.
Thing is, honestly, I don't know if I can really tell any difference between doing this and the standard coil-straight-on-wick. There might be a bit more flavour and vapour but to be honest that might be my imagination, or just what you'd expect from any kind of brand new coil.
I'm going to live with it for a few days, see if it burns out or wears out faster or slower, see if it's more consistent than just using the stock wick.
I guess the proof will be whether or not I can be bothered doing it again next time I need a new coil, but really I'm just terrified it'll pop while I'm at work and I'll have to go back to dripping into a 510 for a few hours. NIGHTMARE.

51 downloadsThis is how I do the rda, its the same but on ody you twist the no resistance round each end to make the contacts.
