This is how I do the rda, its the same but on ody you twist the no resistance round each end to make the contacts.

Give it a go I love the mesh coil, get great flavour and lasts ages, dont seem to burn juice at such low resistance and the extra heating surface seems to make lovely thick vapor! I will make a coil and send ya one if you wanna see one. Dont really wanna do a vid!
Sorry I do ramble on in posts lol Basically the folded mesh strip is the resistance! And a normal wick with extra bit under coil.

did this on the ody at 1.4 ohms thanks to a small suply from pancho

its an absolute pain in the ass to do, but when tweaked and sat nicely it kicks ass.

thanks pancho

Same way as a normal coil, the more you make the more you know. If I wanted a 2.5 ohm coil I would use a thin UNFOLDED strip of mesh, so it looks the same as the folded one. This way the resistance will be double as its half the amount. Also a multimeter is bloody handy lol but like using wire coils you soon get to know what length of strip gives what resistance.
A little tip, when wrapping the mesh coil I do a loop with the no resistance wire, dont make huge twisted connections, then wrap the mesh and another loop of no resistance at the other end. This holds the mesh coil in place as it tends to be springy! I sometimes, when using folded mesh heat it up and let cool as this softens the mesh and takes the spring out abit.

Dont need to burn it but does make it easier to coil up.
