Short to the point review....
Made thre mixes all 55vg 45pg 16mg
10% 12% and 15%
@ 10% no steeping, really nice vape, well rounded flavour tho a little weak for my taste. Gave it to the Missus and same opinion. However still very vapable.
@ 12% 24hrs steeping. A very nice vape, smokey not ashtray like and deep caramel tones sweet but not sickly sweet no hint of vanilla IMO
@ 15%. Well I'll have to get back on that as I'm leaving to steep for 24hrs, but it's not a juice that strikes me a needing to steep and can be vaped str8 away.
I've also mixed some more at 15% and added a touch of vanilla, I'll report back on these tomorrow.
Btw I've also created a juice I've called DR-Y4 which Is like ry3 and ry4 together. If you have vaped the janty elixir ry3 and ry4 then you will have an idea of the sort of taste. Suffice to say its really nice and sweeter than ry4 or 3 on its own with notes of both. Quality stuff.
I hope cigeliquid keep the stock up, I'd be highly disappointed if wen I come to reorder its not in stock!!!

Okay, just wanted to add my opinion to this thread.
After trying almost every RY4 out there and concocting several of my own I came across Hangsen's premixed late last year and it really hit the spot for me.
The first one I tried was from Safercigs and although IMO it remains the best pre-mixed in terms of flavour, it is a PG only juice which I don't like. I then went round practically every UK vendor trying to find a decent PG/VG pre-mix only to be continually disappointed by a lot of far weaker versions.
So when I saw that Cig-E had some concentrate in, and as I get my base from him anyway, I thought I'd chuck some in with my next order.
It arrived today and I've made some up @ 50/50 pg/vg. At the recommended 8-10% I found it a bit weak for my tastes so I've upped it to roughly 15% let it steep for the afternoon and it's now really hitting the spot, very like the stronger pre-mixes I've tried but with all that lovely VG vapour and at a fraction of the price.
I echo the above message to Cig-E about keeping the stocks topped up 'cause a bottle of this will be in with my regular order of base from now on. I should also say that I can't recommend this company enough as far as value for money, speed of delivery and general customer service is concerned.

Ill add to this, bought some of this last week, I use at 15% also and its lovely, and this is coming from someone who isn't a RY4 nut! Id like to see more flavours at 50ml, maybe flue cured or another tobacoo staple.

Thanks psycho for the 1ml sample!
OK, lr boge filled with DIY Hangsen RY4 24mg 70% PG/30% VG using 10% flavouring.... steeped for 2 hours. The colour of the flavouring is quite dark unlike Cloud9 and HealthCabin, which is almost crystal clear - this makes the diy juice look like it's been steeped for a good while.... a bright golden colour. It appears to have zero vg in it, very runny, again unlike C9 and HC weak concentrates, which have a very high/thick VG content.
The smell was intense after just opening the envelope (I love that). Opening the bottle, wow. Very similar to Dekang in its smell - it's got that odd sort of boozy element to it that I like (not sure if others wil agree on that).
Tastes sweet, but not too/overly sweet. Dark. Smokey. Rich. Burnt sugary goodness. A brilliant RY4, after 2 hours steeping this is incredible!
10% seems good, I would try a higher percentage, maybe 15% just to try... I quite like them strong, but after a few more days it may get more intense?
An all dayer or a jolly good base to mix with other flavours or flesh-out your Dekang, HealthCabin or other RYs.
Well done cige, good move! I've found my new vendor - sorry HealthCabin.
Cige/Kev - get more mate!

Had an Ry4 premix from LF before and was convinced there was a hint of 'beer from the night before' on the exhale (but in a good way i think). Is the boozy element you mention anything like that?

Mathematically. Using all cig-liquid product a 10% mix of Hangsen at 16mg nic strength costs £3 a 30ml bottle.
Cheers for the review pegginton.
Another way to look at it would be that using C9 concentrate @ 20%, and using the HS @ 10%, 100ml against 100ml, the price difference in real terms, to get your final desired mix between the two brands, is a whopping £32.00
Enough to buy another 100ml of CEL's HS RY4, and have £9 back in your pocket for nic or mixer.
(based on C9 RY4 concentrate 100ml = £39 and for the same 100ml (2 X 50ml price) quantity from CEL = £23, but only using half the amount per mix or 3ml HS per 30ml, opposed to 6ml C9 per 30ml)
If ecigwizard didn't have such a good promotion on their flavours (10ml for £1.99), i would have a go at Kevin's HS stuff, it's a good price.

I'm on my 4th 20ml bottle now.
Sweet spot for me seems to be 18% flavouring in a 70/30 PG/VG mix, although you could probably allow for 10% variation either way because, apart from the nic, I do my mixing in alazy carefree way.

Damn, this stuff just gets better and better. I'd left a bottle so steep for a couple of weeks and the flavour is immense now - there's a much more defined smokiness to it.
Heaven.

totally agree tatty. I do a 15% mix 70/30 pg and I opened a bottle I brewed about 3 weeks ago last night and it is lovely. The fresh brew is nice but must say I prefer this 3 week old one, the tobacco taste is more upfront on the steeped one. lovely stuff

Adding my two pennth worth...
I mix 70/30 PG/VG using cig-eliquids 52mg PG base to 10mg or 15mg.
Brewed up 90ml three weeks ago - one batch for immediate use, just started on the second 30ml bottle. All I can say is it's like a bloody good wine - it's matured to perfection. I added 2 drops of brown sugar flavouring and 1 drop of DK tab to 5ml of the first batch and that was very nice as an evening vape.
Now Kevin has introduced all the other flavourings I'm seriously considering breaking the house law and buying some of those - especially the other RY flavours and desert ship - if anyone wants to go 50/50 to try them out and keep the cost to a minimum, i'll order them, decant my half and post the other half on in the original bottles (paypal to keep it simple, i'll foot the paypal fees and pass postage on at cost).
Of course, if my idea is dodgy, forget I suggested it!

I've got a bottle of premix Hangsen Desert Ship which is ok but I'm not head over heels with. Saying that, I much prefer this HS RY4 flavouring to the HS premix.

well based on this thread i got my 50 ml from cigeliquid yesterday morning well packaged and quickly too. ive only just started mixing and been trying to use F arts tobacco and PA and this has just blown them all away IMO and such a bargain for 50mls! its so good i made my 1st bigger batch (30ml) since i started mixing my own. itried a 10% mix and a 15% mix and the 10% was bang on right for me. once i mixed them i did a hot water bath for them then lid off steep for a couple of hours and they were very sweet and a bit sickly but still a good taste but today after 24 hours they are not sickly at all and very smokey with shit loads of vapor at 70/30 PG/VG. looking forward to what they will taste like in more time
i will definitely be trying other hangsen flavours now and hope that cigeliquid add more to the range as ecigsoutlet has a much bigger selection but the prices at cigeliquid are much better.
im glad now to have a staple juice to vape while experimenting with other flavours in small batches...
thanks to everyone on this thread for helping me make the choice.
PS. looking on cigeliquids site... what is the flavour they sell called Concentrated Essence? http://www.cig-eliqu...30_6013133.aspx

I got a 10ml bottle of this to try but the bottle tip is very small probabally half the size of a normal plastic dropper bottle. So I used 40 (10%) drops concentrate to 100 (50%) drops CEL 52mg and 80 (40%) drops A-VG to make a 26mg mix, hope it's ok, going to let it steep for a couple of days and give it a try.

Received 10ml of RY4 & 10ml of the essence today. The RY4 smells quite strongly of caramel (im pleased to say) mixed up 30ml at 10%
looking forward to trying this on Friday night. The smell of the essence was much more tobacco-y but also creamy, reminded me amedietly of TWs Hilton, mixed 10ml of this one at 10% again. will try it on Fri night and try and give you some sort of report Herbie, some sort. lol

that'd be good dave cheers there seems to be no clue what sort of flavour the essence is on the site. hoping to find something tobacco ish, a bit nutty and buiscuty/wheaty as a pleasant opposite to the sweeter but VERY nice RY4. anyone else know a hangsen concentrate that meets those requirements?

Have you tried mixing pg only herbie? It takes away a little of the sweetness, alas also some of the vapor! but i prefer pg only mixes now.

Try ecig outlet. They have tons of hangsen concentrates. Flue cured is nice, slightly sweet. Silk slash is good too, minimal sweetness very dry and tobacco like.

The RY4 is very much to my liking and will probably be ordering a 50ml bottle in the next few days, the caramel does seem the dominant flavor but the tobacco is there for me in a mild sort of way. Never been a huge fan of tobacco flavors so that suits me fine.
Herbie, I wish id mixed the essence at 15% its hard to give any report on it, I used about .5 of a mil of it and these are my thoughts,. Stronger tobacco flavor than the Ry4 still a little sweetness to it, but nothing i could put my finger on really? not unpleasant but seemed weak at 10%? I should of put .4 of a ml more of it in the mix and left for a couple more days, but instead i put 9 drops of caramel concentrate in there and put it in the back of the drawer. will do another mix at 15% and give it another go. I did wonder when i first saw it on cige whether or not it was a base for adding different flavors too i think it could do with a bit more substance some how. kind of like going from Bensons too silk cut, nice enough flavor but for the first couple of packs you wonder why your bothering. lol sorry!!
