Hope some Arry Clearo Tank owners are reading this and can offer an answer:

I've been using Arry Clearo tanks for some months now, with CE2 R4 and R5 XL Clearos and have generally been very pleased with them (easy to setup, easy to clean, easy to change, good flavour, vapour and TH) changing for a fresh clearo once a week after putting about 2ml a day through it without cleaning (I used to clean them once after a week and re-use, but they never come back like new and would be chucked after a day or so and at less than £2 each, why bother)

I had several boxes of R5 CE2 and I'm now down to my last 3 clearos, looking at my usual online vendors (electravape, vapeescape, moju, C9V, ecigwizard) those that still stock XL Clearos are now all listing the CE2 Ultimate Edition (R6?)

I've read lots of confusing threads about fitting these in Arry V3 tanks and various chop and bodge mods, but will these fit in an original Arry Clearo Tank? ie, do they use the same outer tube diameter (inside diameter) and is the air tube the same length?

Would like to know before either order a load or selling the tanks

Thanks

Hi wfx,

I'm talking about the the original Arry Clearo Tank and new R6 Clearos, not the ACTv3 designed for cartos (those can be made to work with clearos, but need the airtube shortening as the Tank has a 510 connector built into it)

I should add to that, my current remaining stock are actually R5 v2s (R5 v1 with the black top silcon ring were a bit short and not that good in the Arry Tank)

R5 v2s have much less knurling on the tube base and seem slightly larger diameter, but they can be forced into the Arry Tank to make a good solid connection (takes some effort to pry it off again too)

Question is, are the R6s (ultimate Editions) the same size as R5 v2s???

I am currently on my last R5 clearo and once it dies I would have to put in the R6 as I could not get any R5 out in the market.
Would let you know once I put it in.

I've used one of the new Ultimates in Arry's Clearo Tank . . . fits absolutely fine, no issues at all for me.

Although I did replace the O ring that they come with, for one that I got some of from Arry . . . whether that made a difference/helped
I'm not sure, but there's no leakage at all with it.

Hey Andy
Unfortunately I have to disappoint you: they won't. I mean, CE2 Ultimates + Arry Clearo tank doesn't mean love. :(
I have a similar problem: loved my Arry clearo tanks and now they're just sitting in the box.

OK, mixed messages then...

Perpetua, I hope you're right coz 2.4ohm R5 v2 Clearos and 30mg Perpetu Leche in my Arry Tank have kept me off the rollies for over 6 months now

Viss, when you say they don't work, can you tell me more... why/how don't they work? poor fit? too long?

No pressure then Andy! :beat-up:

All I can say with hand on my heart, is that these clearo's have fitted perfectly in my Arry.

I'd be weeping in my porridge if they hadn't!

It's the O ring on the Clearo Viss, I had a problem with the previous versions leaking in my Arry . . . got in touch with Arry and bought some
of the ones he sells . . . cured the leakage completely.

Since then I always change the O ring as a matter of course when I change the clearo innards, never had any problems since.

Thanks perpetua, however i still don't see what o-rings you're talking about  , we're maybe using different types/generations of Arry's clearo tanks

My tanks consist of only three pieces: one plastic tube + two solid delrin caps. No o-rings at all..

No the O ring is on the Clearo Viss . . . not the tank. :)

I've only got 3 bits on mine as well!

Thanks both,

Viss the o-ring Perpetua is talking about is the tiny one on the clearo itself (usually made of clear/white silicon so hard to spot, but it keeps the standard clearo tube on)

My Arry tank (V2?) does also have 2 o-rings, one on each delrin cap... look closely at the delrin parts that slide into the polycarb tube, there's an o-ring on each one...

I think I'm just gonna have to order a box and try them out...

In the meantime, I can use my RTA, but only after diluting my juice... 30mg juice in the RTA burns my throat and makes me sneeze!

Peas!

I see now..
As I hate cartos and therefore don't use cartotanks, I bought a couple of vision stone tanks from gotvapes and will probably order more

Finger's crossed that your ones will fit ok Andy . . . maybe because I replace the clearo O ring it takes up the
space that Viss was talking about . . . they're certainly bigger/fatter than the ones supplied on them.

The o-rings on the CE2 are 6mm i/d x 1mm c/s normally a very soft silicon
The ones I supplied to perpetua are 6mm i/d x 1.2mm c/s hence tighter fit .
