I use my tanks with a lavatube and the dual coil LR ones do not allow more than 3.7V and I have a stock of 2 ohm cartos so I thought I would convert it. I did not fancy the idea of cutting the tube down as it wouldn't store enough liquid, so;
take one puff daddy tank (Igot mine from ecigwizard)
Posted Image

buy a 510 to 510 converter (I got mine from vapeescape)
Posted Image

then glue (I used araldite in the end cos all the other stuff in my garage had gone off) the adapter into one end capPosted Image

put an O ring on a standard carto. This will prevent leakage and also keeps the juice away from the araldite, just in case of any adverse reactions etc
Posted Image

wait for the glue to go off and then assemble the tank together. I use a multimeter to check I have circuit continuity before I fill it

the drip tip fits into the carto and the O ring on the end cap fits onto the wide bit of the tip to make a liquid tight seal

Hi davidb , any chance of a link to the adapter and the o ring and glue you use for those that can't search , excellent mod by the the way, sure many people will be doing this.

vape escape for the adapters
http://www.vapeescap...ails.asp?id=163

O rings I bought a box of assorted sizes, about 100 I think for about £7 from Halfords.
Araldite I have had in my kitchen drawer for years but I should think any hardware store will do it. Other glues will probably work too.
I did try an adapter from somewhere else but it wouldn't let the air pass through, the ones from vapeescape are fine

Filled the tank a couple of days ago and it has been working a treat, no leaks at all and I have been leaving it filled in a horizontal position when not in use.

Might sound like a daft question, but do you still have to punch a hole in the carto?

I'd say so. Even with little vent holes in the extender, it looks like they're blocked by the tank.

Nifty solution there davidb! :D

yes, still have to make a hole in the carto. I screw a carto into the endcap, check for continuity, then use a marker pen where I want the hole, remove carto and make the hole where the mark is. If you have got a siam mods hole punch just draw a line 4mm from the proposed hole and put the edge of the punch tool to that.

erm no!! The siam mod is 8mm thick, the hole making point is in the middle of it, ie 4mm, so if you draw a line 4mm from the proposed hole sight and put the edge of the siam mod to that...... of course if you are one of these people that sit on the wrong side of the branch whilst you cut it then yes the hole would be in the wrong place by 8mm but you aren't so daft are you? !!!!!

Yes Arry, it is a blatant copy of your version 2, of which I have one!! I did not want to call it a copy as I didn't want to offend you or anything, copyright and all that!!!!!!. I also have a version 3 of yours too, the bottom connector on that protrudes out from the bottom of the cap by about 4mm. It works perfectly and the driptip fits in the other cap fine and the top of the carto just sits inside the top cap. Longer connector on that one maybe?
