Thanks. At the top of the wick holder how much mesh should be poking out? Or do you press it in until the top of the mesh is level?
Cheers.

So do you feed it from the top "tank end" and leave the mesh sticking out?

Ah, I'll give that a go. I just tried pushing the wick holder into the tank and pushing the tank/holder into the assembly too. That seemed to help so I think it is that the tank liquid can't get to the wick.. not the other way round.

New wick last night. Put the wick holder in the body as normal and placed the wick up the holder (from the end closest to the atty) mesh first. Definite improvement.

Got to say, I HATE tank type systems with a passion. Loathe them but needed to get something to take out and about with me so opted for the 1100mah Olympian iMist kit.

I was expecting to just make use of the batteries and throw cartos on them.

Well, what a surprise. It works superb. I was expecting it to be flavourless and suffer dry hits, but it's perfect every time. Tons of vapour, nice clean dripped style taste to it.

It doesn't have the usual dripped flavour though, not as strong. I would describe it as a day old carto flavour. Still strong with minimal muting.

EDIT: Bloody hell, I will have to lower nic strength for this thing. Going dizzy.

Glad your liking it mate, out of the original 3 i had 2 are still going strong, i just give them a quick run under a hot tap from time to time now, and they respond well to a light scrub on the coil

Same. ;)

I had to trim the first one a little but the replacement seems fine as it is.

What are they like when changing flavours, do they carry over nicely?

I dont see ANYONE mentioning using it for dripping with ego type A drip tip. Using it in tank version is only getting around 40% of what the atty can do. That's one of the best things about the IMIST, while at home, you drip it. You leave the house, put the cart on top and use it as a tank atty.
