clock, forgive me if i got this wrong my physics a bit rusty, but wouldnt the oposite be the case, to retain atmospheric pressure in coil chamber, might flooding occur if a partial vacum is created if the incoming air carnt keep up with outgoing, might be completely of base but thought i better mention it.

I think it's the outside diameter but I've sent a question to the seller to check (if he can understand the question correctly).

Ooooh, add me sir, add me !

The RTA is my favourite at the moment and if clockworks can get these made I would want one, his workmanship is peerless IMO.

Also I think the syringe tube is the way to go, but I also found on ebay a place selling ss tube for model making - dunno if they have a size and tolerance that could be useful though.

That does look pretty ideal as long as it is consistent in OD, nice find mate :)

We need a bit of negative pressure in the coil chamber to draw liquid out into the wick the airtube ID should be greater than the inlet hole ID which is 1mm. The negative pressure is very quickly equalised as a draw is taken because a negative pressure will form in the tank. If the tank was not sealed we would essentially suck out the contents.

i got you mate, makes sense, the idea of a vacume and liquid in me lap had me worried for a mo, but without negative pressure the wick would stall if my thoughts are on the right track, this is mind bogglin good job you guys now your stuff, !

Dave

Got confirmation from the seller on ebay that his listings are all giving the outside diameter for the tubing.

Right then, 510 connectors. I'm sorry it's taken a while for me to post this. I've found out who they're from and contacted them about bulk buy prices but no reply yet. Thing is, at the current price I doubt they'll be a viable option. Shame though because they are tough little things. Plus the solid centre pin appeals to me for some reason. Anyway, I've tried to post this a couple of times and keep getting error messages. If I've done it right now, there should be a picture of the atty in question.....

Right, it's not allowing me to embed a pic here so please use link below.

I'm getting a post_to_short error message. ?

Does anybody know of another source for atty's like this at a better price?

Here's the link for these particular ones. http://www.miragecig...K_Atomizer.html

I was unaware of the price when I suggested them. Just knew they were good.

Yeah they look like the type of thing we are after, but yes price is out of ballpark for this project. Ideally if we are going for reclaimed connectors we want them in plastic tubes removing connectors from metal tubes is too time consuming and they are prone to breaking :)

Nice find Snow a good example of what we are looking for.
