4 volts is the same on a lt as it is on a provari but it costs a fraction of the provari.
I think people bash the lt because they are embarrassed to own a "poor man's provari"
Its the same with cars and houses, a rusty mini or a bentley gets you from a-b, a 20 bedroom house or a bedsit keeps the rain off your head.

the ohm feature if you make your own coil is all that sets them apart in my opinion, the lavatube im on my 2nd, 1st one died after two weeks but when the oddy was on it it was straight the 2nd 1 looks like the leaning tower of pisa..you get what you pay for....lavatube is good for the money just ugly as f***k and the fireing button feels quality to me but the adjustment and power on/off buttons are horrid, haveing big hands the bumpy bottom cap digs my hand, the fireing button needed to be an inch higher i dont think too much thought went in to it, just punted out their...imo
1/ A little meter that does the ohms readout and will fit on any other PV is a lot less than the price asked for a Pro-Vari, though.
2/ Looks wise, - is there really much difference 'twixt one willy shaped object than another? Plus the paint flakes off the Americans.
3/ Ok, I'll give you the elephant's fingers one, but then the Pro' is also a pain sequencing through it's menu and in a race, I know which one I would back.
Methinks it's a little more to do with ol' Dr Freud's philosophies. But then, yes, I suppose, ...... he had a willy too.

Im not knocking the lavatube as im on my 2nd but ive not heard on the forum i have a problem or my provari is broken.
I think the lavatube is good for the price, i bought multimeter and to be honest its one more thing to store.
Anyway it is a good entry into vv with poor form factor, desighn, and build quality and that is why it so cheap. If they spent loads of time and money devoloping it dont you think the price would of been higher.
It just the way they do things cheap and cheerful.

I was not knocking the Lt i only use l/r so not much point in buying a Lt or Provari as i can run 4v on my standard mods
The Lt is great value if you run standard resistance atty's but for l/r is pointless

The difference is that the LT gives you four volts while the battery is fully charged
to about half charged. The Provari gives you four volts from charged to flat.
I think it's interesting that the only people bashing the Provari on this thread are
people who don't actually own one!

It's not that interesting and also not true, I've been offered a pallet full of them, but I just don't see the value.

That's because I would expect a car with gold hub-caps for the price of it.
