Hi im not very good at coil making (dont laugh tee hee)
but i happened upon this youtube video of how to make a 0.9 ohm dual coil and i thought i like that its low resistance vaping from a 3.7v battery nice.
so i did it i actually built a dual coil, coil and it came out at 0.9 ohm and it works fantastic with loads of flavour loads of vapour what more can i say you have to try it for yourself.

typically i run 1.1 ohms DC with .2 Kanthal. for full awesome plumes

Just gotten around to trying this today.

It took me about half an hour to make and set up in total, but by god, it was worth it. Mines metering out at bang on 0.9ohm and the throathit is just mental. The vapour is really warm too. I've had to open the juice control a fair way to keep up with the coil, but do far I've not had any burnt hits off of it.

Im still on the original coil setup from when this thread started gave it a huge dry burn last night i have put it in my dripping mode but cant keep my lips on the mouthpiece as its just do darn hot lol.

I can imagine it does get hot. I don't think I'd use this set up in short mode for exactly that reason.

Three weeks from that one coil is good going Mike. I usually change mine in a weekly basis, but due to this being more hassle to set up, I think I'll leave it in as long as possible.

Been playing with the 510 mode last night nice when it works but 90% of the time dry hits or juice dump lol.

I like this setup too, I use a peice of wick over the top of coil, held in place with a coil either end and in middle, helps keep it moist. Tried a mesh wick like a genisis that was a nightmare but worked ok. But the Mesh coil is still my favourite for flavour.

Really had high hopes for this when it works its great i had an email from the vendor that sold it to me you might get replacements at some point lol.

I have just started using the CE2 mode that`s very nice as well,a few dry hits but that`s due I think to the shorter wick,so the occasional tip up sorts that out ............the only thing I don`t like about it is that the mouth piece wobbles about a bit..

Ps thats a fantastic coil there Foggy wish i could make em like that

Agreed.

The only similarity mine has to Foggys is that we both used wire and wick! It still vapes well though. Good job I only have to look at the coil when I clean it though.
