Yes the VAT seems to be incorrectly calculated. £8.92 ex VAT + £1.78 VAT = £10.70 the list price. The basket is calculating £2.37 VAT.
Edit: it is because shipping is being included in the VAT calculation. Not sure if VAT is applicable to shipping.

Just checked and yes VAT is applicable to P&P if VAT applies to the items being shipped.

No probs
If it was shown in the list price you would be paying the VAT for delivery on every item item in your basket if you buy a few items you would pay over the odds. The way it currently is means you just pay the VAT once. Clearest way would be to show the shipping price in the basket inclusive of VAT and exclude it from the calculation or have a separate line for shipping VAT.
