Now 6 months in to being a vapor only "smoker", I am starting to wonder if new aches in the joints are a side effect of excessive glycerine vaping.
At a few weeks short of 70, the aches could be anything - even age!
So can I ask serious vaping people if they suffer from the two symptoms I perceive?
Thanks
Patrick

Six months in vaping in place of a previous 25-a-day habit. I've noticed numerous side effects:

Fingernails have gone a strange almost clear colour;
Teeth have turned white;
Gums have gone a dark pink colour instead of their more usual grey;
Libido has taken on a new lease of life;
Mood is more balanced and less prone to irrritation;
Find it harder to get out of breath when exercising;
Food tastes and smells more;
My bank balance is putting on weight.

No problems with joints or larynx though.

Coming up to 18 months vaping..I just had a full scan a couple of weeks ago due to suspected gall stones(jeeez the attacks hurt like :angry:)...Lungs perfect, liver perfect and kidneys perfect...Think I might go back to 40 b&h and a litre of vodka a day ;)

My doc/s could not see any adverse affects from vaping, I did inform them when I stopped/started as I was on chantix before I started vaping, huge depressions and all that come with the side affects of that drug.

Only side affects I have ever had is full VG based liquids affect my bowel movement for some strange reason.:lol: Plus the periods when vaping just does not seem to be satisfying a craving, hard to explain.

The only larynx related issue I've had is that I can't talk through vapour like I could through smoke :lol:

Four months vaping and it's quite difficult to separate vaping-related side effects from other niggles. The last few years have been quite stressful and that has taken it's toll on my health generally, I think. I do ache a lot but I'm a lazy bugger and spend quite a lot of time on my bum :lol:.

I've found I no longer need to read the penis enlargement emails I get - who would want a bigger Omega anyway??

Like Crossbow, I find talking through vapour difficult

My vocal range has expanded by about five tones - up-over

my pee smells of RY4 (a pleasant by-product, methinks)

I have a small flat spot on my thumb from pressing the button...

Otherwise, nothing to report. It's all good...

and 15 months in by now, I think.

E-cigs are not "quit smoking" devices - they are an alternative way to smoke, but with a much reduced risk profile. Believe this - it's true. E-cig users are NOT quitters.

I have just recently started to experience shortness of breath on occasion and, particularly when running, a temporary inability to take a properly full intake of breath. Not sure whether this is my lungs getting back to normal after years of smoking or what.

However, in the main, feeling good.

The only problem I am experiencing, is sudden involuntary intakes of breath, which I have no control over, but whether its related to vaping or not I dont know..
