The smart carts are just tanks with a little section at the end and a small bit of foam filler in there, so like a tank system for existing bridged 510 (non tank) atties. Not sure how they perform since there have been several revisions, but YouTube is a good place to start if you want reviews.

Where's your leakage coming from? If it's coming out between the atty and battery then it's due to an overfilled cart most likely (there will also be gurgling and far less vapour from the atty when you use it), but if it's coming from between the atty and cart then it may just be condensation building up in the air passages on either side of the cart. This can sometimes seep out but it should only really be a tiny amount (also gurgling on this one, but normal vapour, and perhaps some liquid in the mouth). If it's an overfilled cart then you can fix it by dabbing the top of the filler gently with some tissue until it looks just slightly glistening, and that's what you want to see when refilling it. Any pooled eliquid should be dabbed away unless it's going on a brand new dry atty. If it's the condensation then you can remove the cart, blow through the mouthpiece end several times to clear out the airways in there, and give it a wipe all around with some tissue. To help prevent this, keep inhaling for a second (but gently) once your finger comes off the button; that should clear out any remaining vapour in the airways that would otherwise condense. If you use an auto battery this won't work tho.
The only other reason for a cart to leak is if you're using extremely thin liquid (in which case add more VG) or there's something wrong with the cart (replace it). The filler can shrink over time, so if it begins to look smaller and tougher it's time to change it or the whole cart. It's very rare that the atty is to blame with these issues because a cart, in full working order, should not be physically capable of dumping out more liquid than the atty can take.
