Hi Paul and welcome.
The best advice I can give as I'm a relative new user, is to get an eGo or Riva cartomiser or tank kit, just check the 'shopping forum' here to see a list of vendors.
Ones I use on a regular basis are..
http://www.safercigs.co.uk/
http://www.libertyflights.co.uk/
http://www.vapourworld.co.uk/
http://www.cloud9vaping.co.uk/
Each vendor is trusted and have quick delivery times, though liberty flights are now taking 3 days to get here.

Hi
something like this?
http://www.libertyfl...oduct.asp?id=78 or this http://www.libertyfl...duct.asp?id=118 or this http://www.ivapour.c.../janty-neo.html
It's probably best to go with a tank system as opposed to the cartridges, less faff and filling.

It's a balance of size really, the bigger the batt the better, Riva and ego do a 650mah, 900mah and 1100mah, I'd go for the 1100mah personally but any of these will get you started, I've used all the vendors listed, Lisa at Cloud9 is really helpful when your starting out she can give good advice on devices for the newbie and is second to none with here customer services Liberty Flights are also great Lyndsey has always been really helpful over their, I didn't use LF till later on but hey are a good starting point I personally got started at Cloud9 with my first kit and got really great help from lisa, vapourworld are also great for e-liquid but I can't say I've tried any of their devices.
The new Ego Tank kits are apparently very good and easy for the newbie, I used the previous type of setup in the beginning before moving on, the new ego tank kit's are much improved like this http://www.cloud9vap.../Joye_eGoC_Main

I would say, check out the reviews section, there are some very good, honest reviews by Scott B, Glenn and Mufftrix and others. The videos will give an idea of the sorts of devices out there and their performance. There are some discount codes as well, which could save you some cash.
Good luck in the search

I'd second that Scotts reviews over at E-cig Reviews are a good starting point.
PS: if you use Liberty Flights set up an account then setup your own discount code you'll get 15% off anything, and 5% kick back, you can also get any friends starting out to use the same code

just so ya no, if u got a lavatube and a 510 to ego adaptor u can buy the top bit to any ego package seperatly, which u have to do anyway wen it comes to replacing it, ita save ya piling up unneeded batrys and save ya a few quid n the long run

Hi Paul, hope you enjoy your purchases when they arrive. Its only when you have got it and assess your feelings about the flavours you've started with that you will know which direction you want to go in. Most people begin with tobacco flavours and some continue with that. Many of us find, often to our surprise, that we want sweet or fruity flavours. At the point when you have a fancy for a type of flavour you'll find yourself looking for, and easily finding the threads where different brands and vendors are getting talked about.
Welcome to vaping. Its a whole new hobby.

lot of flavours at http://www.liberty-f...uk/products.asp my recomendation pinkspot range, http://vapourworld.co.uk lot of cheap eliquid, mainly dekang and dekang was the best type of background flavour wen i started vaping, http://www.vapeescap...ds > HS Premium cheapest uncut hs premium range, http://liberro.co.uk bit expensive flavours but do some nice eliquids,
https://dv.gostorego.com argualby the best of all the eliquids available, but expensive
thers loads of places to buy eliquid but just remember, some eliquid arnt eliquid ther flavours, and say u buy bannana flavour not all bannana flavours are gona taste the same way, even if ther made from the same company, some may require steeping some maybe total ripoffs lmao

My two penneth as a noob.....i started on a Jacvapour vgo and still think its a great little PV that has a place in my collection of battery holders as its usefull in certain situations(i use it if not in office and out and about and use it with the large v3 carts(2 of these topped up lasts me a day if not vaping heavilly...).
I also have a SD 2 and SDK Lavatube and just got a Silver bullett
If i had just started on the ecigs and know what i know now id go straight for a LT or SB and would have saved some dosh .....but hey ho that would be boring
