That is very natural. I still really struggle with flavours, sometimes everything tastes great and other days it is like licking a babies soiled nappy or like vaping fresh air. I often vape flavourless liquid for a day or so and then try an old flavour - it sometimes works but sometimes doesn't :(

Other people have different experiences but inconsistancy is the downfall of ecigs and that is why we tend to look for the new products to see if they provide it!

Hi Andycap, I'm also new to vaping and having a few problems. However, when I started (saturday) I was talking to a chap who said if you ever lose your taste for e liquid then try some menthol and go back to the one you liked before.
Being new I have no idea how true this is, but maybe an experienced vaper might be able to shed some light on it.

Welcome Andy. :vape:

Unlike Rusty I have never had any problems with my taste buds and flavours although I understand that some do.

You said that you were okay while you were using the tobacco flavour so maybe the tic tac orange has not agreed with you. I have never tried this flavour so know nothing about it as I only use tobacco flavours.
Be nice to your kids they'll choose your nursing home.

I buy from anyone who sells good products at the right price, even quit kit vendors.

I suppose that works as everyone can 'taste' menthol - the vile stuff that it is - it makes you appreciate what you had before

Get VG liquids as they are less harsh on the throat - plus they give you plenty of tasty phlegm :) :beer2:

Hiya Andy welcome .I take it the orange TicTac was from TW the good looking red head in TW,s Wigan shop let me have toot on hers :) ,thought it nice but didn't think I could have used it all day . Had a couple of weeks on redbull but don't care for it any more . cherry cigar and RY4 are my main vapes now with odd fruit or sweet flavour just to keep my taste buds working .

As far as VG is concerned, just get a bottle of Glycerin from Boots and add it to your liquids (it will dilute the nic though) - The Cherry Cigar tastes like Cherry Bakewells to me, but what do I know???!!

Cherry cigar, not too sweet (don't like cherry flavour on its own) with a really mild cigar-ish note , easy on the throat I find . I used loads of this with an ego tank set up but its taste varies with different set ups. What set up are you using ?

If you get VG from boots, you'll find it very thick and gloopy. I thin mine with vodka, others use distilled or de-ionised water (8-2).
If you mix 50/50, you will cut your nic in half.
