Hi Guys,

I'm at my dads now, and he is having problems with his EGO-T with a 650/750Ah battery, using his attys there was a dreadful burning taste, so I tried using my dual coil cartomisers 1.5ohm, that work fantastically in my Riva 510, but in his EGO-T battery they are heating up and the taste is just not the same, any ideas why?

Can you recommend anything?

Sounds like its not wicking correctly Mich, has he changed liquid ?

Yes we changed liquids today, because his was terrible.. I tried some of my beloved Maple Cured, but even that just doesn't taste the same.

Are the batteries on a Riva 510 different voltage to that of a Ego-T ..?

the ego batteries run at a controlled lower voltage if anything that should produce slightly less vapour than a riva.. the opposite to what you seem to be getting..

sounds like poor wicking like has been said.. when the coil dosnt get enough liquid it runs hotter and you get the burn taste..

Thanks trog I appreciate that, the burning that he was getting initially, is that due to his atomiser cone burning out, it really is quite vile

If the burning vileness was only on his atties and not your carto too then could it have been primer fluid? It's not that common anymore but occasionally you still find it in atomisers.

Thanks guys, we are going to pop down to vapertrails in Bournemouth to see what's going on today, plus they have some lavatubes down there so I may take a little look at those too

I highly recommend the eGo-C. It might not look like it but it is a big big improvement over the eGo-T.
