Me again. Slow day and working from home. I love my Apex UltraMax but I'd like a back-up vape device. I used to have a cheap, chrome finish Bauway 510 but now the switch is jammed on permanently.

I'd get a Lavatube but it looks a bit plastic-y. Maybe a smaller, tube shape, metal mod with a 510 connector, that perhaps uses the same 17670's that the UltraMax uses? My budget would be around £30 - £40 quid.

I'd go for a more portable widget, if it gave good vapour like the UltraMax. I quite liked those "Cube" ones, but a bit pricey for me right now.

Any ideas?

Note: I tried a Little Gem sidewinder but it was a bit flimsy for my tastes.

Different batteries but a lot of people seem to rate the Ego Mod which will fit nicely in the price point you are looking at?

Also, The Bolt may be worth a look as an alternative?

indulgence from liberty flights but you would need 18650 bats has a ego type connect so can use all sorts

I was looking a Roughstack V2 yesterday - ecw sell them for £33 for the mini and a few quid extra for the 18650



I think they look better in red!

The Don should take 17670's. It's a cracking mod but you may need to stretch the £40 budget to get one on the classies

I would second the Don, there is one in the classifieds now for £50 and one just went for £45.

They are superb mods and can be used in either full or mini mode
