Where does 17 quid to eire/eu come from ? I ordered yesterday, usual 10 quid flat rate.

i am off on hoilday as of tom or i would be happy to have it shipped to me and then send it on. i am sure someone else here could do that for you as you have done a lot for us !!

heya...i really shouldnt complain...i guess i'm being a whinge today!!!tyke is gonna send me on a tornado kit...you guys are all so great im sorry for having a moan about it...would've been nice to do it all by myself n not ask for help but to be fair i can'tcomplain...thanks tyke....and matt for the offer..wont mention it again just wanted to clear up that i did get help with an order and appreciate it very much : o)


edit: jackie ur so good thankyou...lol i thought you were there in chat when tyke was going on about getting a pink tornado to go with his new basque...heehee....that was me : o)

One of my orders is showing shipped, the other isn't, bit of a shame as I used the live chat at about 10:45 to ask about combined shipping and was told that both orders were already picked for shipping.

I did notice the UK shipping price went up from £1.99 to 2.99 in the space of 10 hours too.

Cass hopefully the Tornado will be here either tomorrow or the day after and I'll ship it on.

They've sold nearly 200 LR atties since I ordered this morning, I suspect stock isn't going to last on certain items...still 900 Black Tornado kits but titanium are almost gone.

The postage went up last night... my first big order (dispatched!) went in at 3.30pm at £1.99, and second at 10.00pm at £2.99... but not complaining at all! There was a difference of about 200 orders in that time....

This is certainly getting the TECC brand known better, they'd hardly had a mention anywhere with TW getting all the attention. Maybe the theorists have it back to front and it's the devil that's getting binned.
Here's another random theory, maybe Jason is trying to get a load of cash together for some major investment or the evil weevil manufacture, looking at its specs it's certainly not going to come off standard factory lines that other e-cig equipment could.

TECC isn't just Jason though is it? I thought TW was his spin off baby.

As for the postage, perhaps greed or perhaps £1.99 was an average based on the usual order size but order sizes are much increased now so bump up postage. Dunno, just an idea.

There is no point running a sale and running the postal programme at a loss, he might as well put the price up on postage. With regards Euro orders, unless the shipping calculator works on weight then a flat rate fee of £5 or whatever won't cover the large volume that people are probably buying, if the shipping code can't work out the correct weight then this is where the £17 comes in, it's high but past that they would have to contact each buyer and tell them the correct postage and take a second amount for it. People will take the postage hit to get at that juicy 50%.

Tecc is a different company to TW; different books, different owners, different stock. I don't know how Tecc would go about giving its stock to TW. I would be surprised if Pillbox was to give a % of TW to Tecc directors so I am not sure a consolidation is on the books, plus, didn't they just move everything in a new warehouse?

It hasn't affected sales on our site...yet. Possibly not that many people know about tecc, at least our customers that is? It never really gets mentioned on forums all that often. TW's long term reduction affects thing, the sale last year (what was it, 30%?) seemed to increase sales, not sure why that is. TW having a 50% sale would have a much bigger impact I think.

He's not the only director of TECC, that much I know. There is a thread all about it on the TW forum somewhere if you were that interested to find out, titled something along the lines of 'The history of TW' (can't remember exactly).
