I popped the top off one earlier when I'd emptied one. Off with the top cap, off with the inner. I was expecting to be confronted with filler. But no, it's an empty chamber with a plastic column in the middle. I'd imagined with all the talk of syringes I'd see something completely different.

I tentatively dripped a few drops in and it worked fine.

What do you see?

Did you take the two inner caps off, then I guess you would have to cut the plastic to get through to the filler.

At the risk of extremely mixed metaphors, there's a nipply thing in the middle you need to thrust your syringe though :p

On one of my recent Xl cartos the middle section's two holes still had moulding on them and I had to break those those too, I use a very very thin drill bit, twisting with my hand to get through, my blunt needles are too thin and would bend trying to break through.

There are tiny Gypsies living in mine. I'll keep an eye on them though they're not really doing any harm and live and let live, I say.

I have got rid of the middle bit with the 2 small holes in .........................and no probs at all, no pulling of juice into the mouth, and it just knocks off seconds in the filling process. I have had always had to spend more time getting that part out :talktohand:

I tried that but it was significantly windier, I prefer the tougher draw with it in.
