Had a night out to celebrate a friends birthday on Saturday on the boat, was a good night and no problems with vaping, two ego's and a silver bullet were in use by me, my friend and sister. We were a bit coy at first, I was stealth vaping but after a couple of drinks...well you know how it is. I was doing impressions of ICI cooling towers by the end of the night and nothing was said. The outside upper deck was allocated to smokers and in the first hour we did venture there, more for the fresh air than anything but being stuck with the stinkies wasn't particularly fun. That was where this was taken :

Aye, it's weird. To me, a Geordie accent is almost as alien as a welsh or scottish - it's miles away from my own Mackem-tinged twang, and yet the southerners can't tell Geordie, Mackem and Smoggy apart, never mind the poor buggers in Hartlepool or Wingate...
Bring the Durham County accent into it, and they just lump 'em all together - and yet, to me at least, they all sound massively different. We even swear differently!
