Is it a thread rule that we have to pull these from the top of our heads?
The words "panic" & "pandemonium" all stem from "Pan" Greek God of shepherds who would hide in bushes or shrubbery & pounce out on unsuspecting passers by.
He played the pipes quite famously too & had the instrument named after him, sorry to take any notoriety from Disneys "Peter" but there was a 3 or 4 thousand year gap between them.
I'm running low, make have to make something up or search online.

Sigorney's a girl??
Napleon Boneparte was so ashamed of his decrepid little hand (think Jeremy Beadle) that he always hid it from view in his coat when in public.
And you thought it was just a cool stance

Perhaps entitled something like "Magnum Jones & the Knuckles of Doom"?
Kim Bassinger was so turned off by Mickey Rourke when filming 9 1/2 weeks she felt nautious throughout the entire naughty fridge food scene. When filming the rooftop scene when she had her back to him & was asked by the director to drop her coat she thought she was going to hurl over the edge at the thought of exposing her bare bum to him.
Needless to say she was a young unknown at the time & needed the money.

When filming her video for "Jenny from the block" Jeniffer Lopez had amoung her enormous make up entourage a nipple tweaker who would give her a bit of a twist during breaks to ensure she maintained her perky condition throughout filming
No it wasn't Ben Affleck, in fact when he heard of Jeniffers extra hired hands he was rumoured to have mentioned he was "going to kill the ba*tard".

In xtian terms Xmas trees, Holly, Ivy & Mistletoe have nothing at all to do with xmas, as easter bunnies have nothing to do with easter.
These were ancient Pagan themes much too strong for xtianity to overpower. No church will acknowledge any of the above.
In Druid times they would gather round a pine tree & each would set a candle on a branch & at the exact time of the Winter Solstice would light each candle & hold a Ritual to ensure the return of the Sun. Holly related to The Holly King who took his reign on the Solstice. The Druids would throw golden sickles at the Oak trees which carried the Mistletoe & catch the falling herb in their robes to burn as incense at the Solstice Ritual.
The easter bunnie is the Ostara Hare & was the form the Goddess would take at the Spring Equinox.

Not strictly true, it's said that one can direct lung inhale to their hearts content with the aid of an 8mm hole drilled through their oxygen mask & some power putty.
It's the tiny ice shards falling from the ensuing exhale that pose the biggest problem I heard, goggles are therfore advisable.

I thought everyone had lost interest in this thread! So, in celebration, here's my favorite ''fact du jour.'' In 2004 a laboratory in Texas was given a multi-million dollar government grant to breed radioactive war Armadillos. I am not joking.
