I've had my Lavatube a few weeks now. The thread on the end cap was a teensy bit gritty when I first got it and it's got a little worse over time. I read on the forum somewhere about Noalox and ordered some from ECigWizard. Just tried it and wow! Smooth as butter! :D I can recommend it and will be using it on all my mods from now on :D

Cheers
Adam

Isn`t Noalox better for electrical conductivity...or doesn`t it make any difference ?

I believe you're right. Noalox also cuts through oxidisation therfore allowing current to flow better.

That was really the only reason I got some originally, but haven`t seen any tests done to prove that it`s any better....so I don`t know.

I thought it couldn`t make it any worse either way when I got my provari which felt like they`d dipped the threads in jam & fine sand.

Anyone know how you would actually test for conductivity (or resistance ?) across a devices threads ?

I wouldn`t have a clue other than poke a multimeter at it....it might be vaguely interesting to know one way or another.

I bought some of this noalox. I thought it was the business end of the battery, ie the thread that connected to the attie. This vid says different. I haven't used it yet, which may be just as well.

I put vaseline on my 'creaky' Lavatube thread on day one, before I had the noalox. A couple of quid wasted perchance!

I use Noalox on the LT and Provari, does the job nicely and keeps the threads from grinding.
Tatty bye all, it was nice while it lasted.

Do you all do your vaping in sand pits?

Based on Roll Ups @ 50 grm of the cheapest per week.
Daily update - Vaping costs so far £284.64 = minus £119.10 in real terms
Taking renewable items and juice costs into consideration I'll break even in November 2012 and then realise a net saving of £20 per month.

Vaseline is ideal for those teensy bit gritty LavaTube caps ... Noalox can aid conductivity for GGs and such likes ... Vaseline is good for the o-rings ... ;)

Is Noalox any good for the Touchwood 18650?
Or should I get some Cape Cod instead?
If Cape Cod does the trick, is there any other
place to buy them other than Cloud9?

As I understand it, Noalox is a lubricant, a conductor (of sorts) and it prevents corrosion of aluminium. So, not sure if it would be appropriate for a Touchwood - but then again, I don't know how the Touchwood is constructed! :D
