I started making my own juices as soon as I switched from smoking to vaping, I don't like the idea of PG being in my juices in any stronger way than in my concentrates, so I purchased some concentrates from various vendors and some 24mg strength unflavored VG liquid from Liberty Flights. I then proceeded to vape my head off and love every second of it until I got low on that bottle so I thought I should buy the 52mg one so I'll use less of it, so I did and it's been a bloody disaster since I got it. I'm using the same concentrates as before, have tried two different makes of VG for the dilution and what I have left of the 24mg juice to establish that it's the 52mg that's the problem, it's overriding all my flavors, not in the nic strength but in killing the flavor itself and making them all taste the same (and I mix as high as 30% in the flavor department with some). Difficult to describe what that sameness is but it isn't what I want, isn't nice and in no way tastes the way the mixes did when using the 24mg. I know that the stronger ejuice solution is different in terms of it having water in it and the colour is markedly different (the 24mg is light yellow and the 52mg is clear) but should I be experiencing this kind of discrepancy or does it look like I've got a bad batch?
Anyone else experience this?

The chinese unflavoured (24mg) actually has some flavourings in, the base flavour is quite different than just straight pg or vg and nicotine.

Ay Up blacksmithpro,

Have a look at this thread - it does seem to be a problem with the non-Chinese (European) nicotine base liquid. Whether or not it is the added ingredients of the Chinese stuff that masks the unpleasant flavour of a nicotine base liquid is debatable - it could just be a nasty batch of FArts!

Weird how different people perceive tastes and products, If there's one mixing juice I would 100% trust to be pure and 'tasteless' it's LFs 52mg. I only really use it for my menthol and sometimes beefing up 24mg if I have a weak atty/carto though as I am not really a fart fan, so you would probably know better than me..

I suppose I've been lucky with juice quality on the whole and had only ever had two instances of 'dodgy' juice, the first I have written about ad nauseam so probably time to let that one die now.
The second was a bottle of parliament from LF, dealing with that was a whole lot more pleasant, I PM'd Abe with the problem and offered to send it back to which I received a reply along the lines of "what the hell would I do with a bottle of rancid juice? Stick it up your arse" and then he promptly sent me out a replacement! Gotta love Abe, faultless customer service with attitude, fantastic! :laugh2:

Not really wanting to pollute the water table, I hit upon the idea of injecting it directly into the roots of some stubborn weeds in the garden, I know it all sounds very Dr Shipman but it works like a charm! Japanese Knotweed? What Japanese Knotweed? :sinister:

Ok, well this explains the colour difference and partially why it's killing my flavours concentrates. Not to complain as I'll just offer it up for trade here but I had naturally assumed that both liquids would be the same unflavoured beast as far as being able to take a flavour since both are labeled as "Unflavoured" on your website. Personally, I wouldn't label them both as such if it isn't the case but that's just me, duly noted for the future though so cheers.
Gonna have to make a FT thread now.

It's not only EU liquids, some chinese liquids have been effected too. Healthcabin's VG for example (though the PG is fine). Alice did say the Dekang unflavoured VG was fine, but the VG from both Healthcabin and Heaven Gifts was effected (though she reported Eastmall's VG as being ok). It does seem to predominantly effect VG as opposed to PG however.

The 10 ml bottle of 24 mg of cinnamon was nice and hot and spicy just as I like. Finally, the bottle eJuice 3mm ring setting, while the somewhat silly, is a welcome addition to my keychain drops directly on the Northern Line has never been more fun.
