One thing I forgot to mention on that video, is that I was NOT using new atomisers, both were Janty Classics, throw away kind, and both more than 3 months old..
Hence not as much vapour. But I was inhaling plenty, hence, I keep using my old atties, till they really die...
If I do another, I will make bullet points, so I remember all these things.
I wanted to review the JS as a vaper, not as an informercial.
A PV is a personal thing, we all have our likes and dislikes, I like the stick, and have since I first bought one in June, but its not my only vape.
Jackie... two fat ladies doing a review sounds good to me... but I guess there would be more giggles than review...hahaa
To sum it up, the V3 is great for those who like the stick, but, these days, it's not my main vape.
I just love the big guns... even though I never vape at 6v.

Another discovery.......
I was looking through my atties in order to re do the video this morning, and I have found, that the fitting for the atty in the V2 has a distinct cross section, the V3 has not.
The result is, I have tried new atties, both from iVapour elixir and from TW, ( non Janty) and none of them will work in the V3
I have some Janty atties on order, so will re do the vid when I receive them.
Its not a positive that you can only use Janty Atomisers in this.

Good first review Cat, I like how you took your time, explained the differences well and nothing was rushed.

Wow that's terrible, and a huge negative for the V3. I imagine that would put a lot of people off buying one, I wonder if Janty are aware of this. If I get time later I'll have a read on their forum at the big place.

If it is intentional, it would presumably be good for Joye, as the stick is available unbranded, and so are 302 atomisers.
I'd still consider it a bad thing - if only specific atomisers work, I won't be buying one

It is for Janty. Might it be by design?
That all depends on how you look at it. I don't use itunes because of its proprietary nature, likewise I wouldn't buy anything Janty if that's the road they're heading down...

Agreed. I like the Janty designs (and they used to claim to favour off-the-shelf batteries), but if this is in anyway indicative of the way they want to go, sod 'em.
Wryly currently vapes with:
Tornado (& Mega) 510 (Riva KIA)
TECC Stick
Iolite
Screwdriver mk1
DSE 901 PT
The Little Gem (801)
Janty Stick v2 MIA 12/12/09
DSE601 e-pipe KIA 18/01/10

If you look inside the V3 down into the atomiser shaft, you will see the fitting is different. I will try and get a photo later on. The fitting looks like a normal screw fitting. The V2 has a cross section cut in it. Now this obviously helps stop leakage problems, and changes the air flow hence a warmer, more flavourful vape.
I think I was wrong to say it will only use Janty atties, what I should have said is it will only use the Janty atties I have.....
I have loads of atties, TW and those iVapour-elixir sell, so far I have found one out of 12 that will work in it...
Yet every one of those atties works on my SB and GGT...
My daughter and I are going to try all her spare atties today and see how many work.
So although its not a fact that only Janty atties work.. it is a fact that out of 13 atomisers in my possesion, only 3 of them will work in my V3

However you look at it, those aren't good numbers though :(
