Heavens gifts suggest adjusting the atomiser center connector if it doesn't work..... so its clearly a common problem. The staple mod would probably be a better bet though.

We must, indeed, all hang together, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately.

Well Im glad in one way that its not just me who is having this problem. But it shouldnt be happening..
And exactly how do they suggest adjusting the centre connector? not exactly the easiest thing in the world... tut tut..
Since Janty sold out...and sorry thats how I see it, and Joye products are available everywhere at the same time, no matter who they say designed it.. they seem to be more interested in getting products out there, than making sure designs are fit for purpose..

This is the Year 2010 newest manual-switch V3 Joye stick MOD e-cigerette, coming with a Joye302 pen style atomizer. It's the improved version stick, with better button switch and better quality.
Some of the pen style atomizers (such as the DSE801 atomizer) may not well fit this newest V3 Joye Stick, please try to adjust the connector of the atomizer to make them work together. Please refer to here.

It could well just be a problem that arose when they changed the connector, presumably to cut down the length (the original stick connectors are huge).
It would be interesting to try a mini pipe atomiser in one, as they tend to have the same issue with standard 801 atomisers.

UPDATE
My daughter tried the same TW and iVapour-elixir multi pack atomisers on her JS V3 none worked. I tested all 10 on the SB and GG Trans, 8 out of 10 worked on the SB, 10 out of 10 on the GG Trans.

That's nasty Cat...you would think they'd have tested this and provided info for buyers. :(

It does rather look as though it's by design - but then, Joye battery pack works only with Joye atomisers doesn't really surprise - it's a bit like Canon printers only work with Canon cartridges and not with Epson's or Lexmark's.
They've taken the gamble that folks prefer their 801 class atties to the competition's. It's a cut-throat world out there...

Janty should then say this is the case.. Canon and Epsom do, and we as consumers can then look at the cost of the cartridges before making our mind up on a purchase.
I do normally buy Janty Throw Aways, but I do intermingle them with 5 pack atties, to reduce outlay. So I am not to happy about this either...

Don't just think Janty - think Joye. Janty is just Joye re-badged/oem'ed. However, I can see unscrupulous vendors guaranteeing operation with stick MK III, but charging a premium.
I can see where Joye is coming from, but it sucks for the consumer who, hitherto, has been used to an 801 class atty working on any 801 class power source.
