We thought it was about time to open up the forum to new users a little more, so instead of just one forum for new users there's now a whole category along with two forums - Introductions and New User Questions.

The general idea is to both make the forum more welcoming to new users, and to have a forum where readers can peruse the questions asked by other new users.

I'm still in the process of moving posts from the original forum (which is now the 'Introductions' forum) which no longer belong there, when I've finished moving things around I'll update this post.

To all the new users - please don't be afraid to ask questions, we were all new to this once and have ourselves benefited from the wisdom of others. We're all only too happy to return the favour in answering questions.
