Pregnancy: use only if smoking cessation without nicotine replacement fails; intermittent therapy preferable but avoid liquorice-flavoured nicotine products; patches should be removed before bed
So I'm guessing low dose vaping is better than high / medium dose NRT anyway, which is secondary treatment for pregnancy. I'm interested to know why liquorice flavoring should be avoided. Is liquorice teratogenic?
Edit2: Yup, liquorice contains glycyrrhizin which is teratogenic: http://news.bbc.co.u...ast/8292392.stm

Ooer - my mum had the bun in the oven cravings - smoked through her pregnancy with me, and craved fish and chips and liquorice - according to my dad, she got through a full retail box of liquorice a week. I'm a past president of my local Mensa (left now - got fed up and pissed off with the whole elitist mob). Thank goodness she both smoked and ate the liquorice, else I'd be hobnobbing with S. Hawkin Esq. on a daily basis!!!
