I know they're not pubs, but i've had no problems whatsoever vaping in any of the branches of starbucks i've been in - even the crouch end branch which turns into a creche/nursery by about 3.30pm every weekday!

Was allowed to vape in the Doo Below bar in Aviemore recently (it's below the Skiing Doo restaurant) - no hassles and the staff were very interested in how e-cigs work.

The collection so far: Don & Mini Don (mostly used in Mini form), Ego Mikropipe, Titan Tank, Riva 1100, Mini Pipe.

I'm slightly confused as to how premises can refuse vaping? No laws are being broken.
The only place I've been challenged was the mess room at work. Rather than ask me, someone snitched and a manager had me in the office over it. Having demonstrated the tornado I had at the time, manager was fine with it and said he would inform the snitch I was doing no harm to anyone (and commended me for quitting the ciggies)

Even though it is legal, we cannot assume that everywhere will allow it,,,,,people are funny.

ive never actually asked so im guessing all my pubs cant be added but i vape away in pubs all the time and not stealthily big vapor clouds but ive never even been asked its like they see its not a cig so dont bother asking :bounce2:

Would it be worth adding pubs that we know don't allow vaping as well? Using a red pin or similar? Would make it easier for people who are wondering if a local pub allows vaping without having to go in and ask.

Added these pubs in Edinburgh to my list- Maggie Dicksons pub in Grassmarket, Footlights Bar, Tiger Lily, Bar Salsa and Cargo.

Edit: unable to edit my list - Rusty please add them to the map.

The Chanter is really annoying in that it is not allowed. I asked the barmaid why and she said it might confuse drunks and foreigners.

Can't remember if i've mentioned this on this thread or not.

The King's Head - Crouch End, London.

Vaped there for while the staff have been setting up the tea lights & menus during the week with no problems at all.
Vaped there downstairs on a sunday during the weekly afternoon jazz. (Bit of a plug sneaked in!) Absolutely no problems at all.

Been vaping there for months.

Sugarlounge - Stroud Green Road, London.

Absolutely no problems at all. Bar staff were intrigued. (Last summer)
