I went to the Barnsley CAMRA Beer Festival yesterday afternoon and was disappointed

It only cost a quid for CAMRA members to get in, it was a lovely day BUT there were no outside facilities to have a sit down or rest my wearing elbow and the beer was served in PLASTIC skiffs!!!!

Beer in plastic = poor drinking experience

Get a grip Barnsley CAMRA!! It was like the days of rubber flavoured eliquid

It was a good job that The Market was just across the road and I got a lift back to The Anglers for some decent stuff.

PS - Toad Brewery were there in a coach and I gave my CAM-VIP card to the head of sales as I sold the ecigs as a way of increasing productivity in the workplace

No excuse for a CAMRA beer festival to serve beer badly, they most definitely know how to do it right.

Was in the Midlands for a few days for a funeral this week and the hotel I stayed in had 3 top notch beers in. Bombardier, Holdens Best and Three Tuns 1643, all very nice.
