JD Wetherspoons have had a rethink on the use of e-cigs in their pubs. They discussed e-cigs at a recent weekly operations meeting thanks to Jim (Durinthiam) emailing the Company Secretary.

They are;


'Currently allowing Vaping in the south west region as a "trial" to judge impact on operations and customer perceptions :) - Jim'


Any vapers in the South West that wish to help JD Wetherspoons come to a positive conclusion about vaping, please pop along to your nearest Spoons with your kit and help educate their clientelle as to what e-cigs are all about.

A positive step. Was stealthing in a spoons last night.
Vaping what the hell I like (as usual) Sharing the joy of the SDK with pub-goers but enjoying the intensity of the HH357 at home and the sheer practicality and fafflesness (its a word i made up) of the Lil mama on the Touchwood. 306DCA..dripping monster


I WAS THERE AT VAPEFEST 2010! MISSED VAPEFEST 2011! Vapefest 2012 in August..worst time for me :(

I'm going to be contacting the General Manager for the Region and seeing about sending some bumf to pubs but what is mostly needed is vapers in there with a chirpy attitude and some tact! For the love of god avoid the cigarette lookalikes (Black & Blue LEDs is fine but ones that try to look like ciggies will be nowt but bad!).


If only the b'stards had "trialled" it on my region...ho hum. Lucky i do it anyway, and let my newly converted staff do it :D

I've converted the landlord of The Plasterers Arms Norwich to allow vaping. A barman friend is leaving his current pub (where he allows me to vape) to take on the Plasterers from the end of May. One FB convo later and he is happy to be added to the CamVip site! yeay!

I have no problem openly vaping in my local spoons. They have always been fine with it.
