Mr Darcy, there are a lot of places that sell 0-nic flavours. If it's a tobacco flavour that you'll be looking for, just ask the supplier of your current favourite, to get it in 0mg strength for you, I'm sure that they will oblige. Mixing your own is something to try, but I think it's at least fair to say that opinion is mixed. If you know what you like, stick with it, just reduce the strength that you buy. OKSmokey do their 3 hand-rolling tobaccos in 0mg Double flavour, so you could double your juice for a very cheap price.

ive never been impressed with the flavour of 0 nic juice.

thanks for the tip about the OKSmokey double flavour juice tho,i didnt know anyone in the UK did double flavour liquid yet.that should help when the time comes...and theres always menthol crystals too.

im in no rush to quit nicotine for a new years resolution or anything, ive got about a 6 month supply of nic liquid to get through first.but when thats gone, its no-nic time.

cheers.:)

Anyone know what happened to misteliquid (freddo's site). I've noticed its been 'under construction' for a couple of weeks now. Pity if he has given up as he had some good deals.

Loved his bargain bucket 36 mg RY4.:)

Ahh... but dealing with e cigshop results in faster delivery and better customer service :)

the internet has unlimited selling opportunities but also unlimited competitors..

compiling lists of every seller on the planet might seem good for the consumer.. but i cant help feel its making life f-cking hard for the buggers trying to stay in business and sell these things..

and survival of the fittest dosnt mean those who sell the best product.. it means survival of those with the most money and the best line in sales bullsh-t.. :goofy:

ECF has triggered this kind of effect.. EBAY started it all.. its now shut down e cig sales.. google has shut down e cig advertising.. ECF seems to be the main entry portal now.. its loaded with too many sellers and not enough buyers..

we are being hit with the same advertising restriction tobbaco has..

real fags are okay the bloody things are on every shop counter they dont need anything else.. but e cigs being hit with the same restrictions is bad news.. we are stuck in a little internet forum based time warp..

we need more buyers.. unless we get them something has to give.. thats my take on the e cig scene.. the user base growth has kind of come to a stop..

too many products and sellers chasing what seems to be a finite number of customers with no real way of getting at more..

i could be wrong its hard to find real information.. but i have given the matter some thought.. e cigs need to go prime time.. until they do user growth has stopped..

It's funny you should say that. I'm a full time web developer and I was thinking of doing an index of suppliers as a kind of independent website on my own time. It sprang from the fact that coming from Ireland every online shop I visit the first question I need to ask is do they ship here? From that I thought it would be great to be able to go to a site and say I want a 510 from a supplier who does PG liquid and ships to Ireland and the site will list those for me. You might not thank me for it if I go ahead with the idea :)

Have you seen this idea Brian - http://www.vaporfox.com/

This site gathers information about stock from sellers and presents it all in one place. This sort of thing might be a handy for consumers here if it had European traders.

Definitely along those lines. I'm not sure I would like to show prices or stock levels though. I wouldn't be doing it to prejudice buyers towards any particular supplier because I think price is only one factor. A rating/review based system would be better imo.

Yeah, that would be good, prices wouldn't be my priority either.

i am probably odd here but i think too much choice can be just as bad for a consumer as too little choice..

i remember the good old fashioned high street shop.. folks went in told the shopkeeper what they wanted.. he showed them a few things they bought one and went home happy..

what have we now.. unlimitedly choice.. no friendly shopkeeper and nobody is happy.. mind you nobody is intended to be happy.. they are all intended to keep buying more junk they dont need.. :goofy:

one thing is sure the longer the compiled list the more confused the potential customer gets.. perhaps those who live in Ireland should limit their list to companies that ship to Ireland.. just an idea.. :)

if there is a consumer problem.. its not a lack of sellers or products.. its knowing which product to buy out of too large a "much of a muchness" choice..

of course in the end it does come down to price for most folks.. at least its one criteria they can see.. how much they have to fork out to get something.. which i suppose is why the world is so full of cheap crap and why the chinese are doing so well.. he he he

trog

ps... out of interest we ship anywhere in the world.. but currently we dont sell e liquid for potential legal problems..

Well I have a list of bookmarks to suppliers I have come accross but until I have actually decided to buy from them all I won't actually investigate where they ship to. On a personal level I have found one supplier in Ireland who seem very nice and shipping is next day which is a rare treat. Along with LF, iVapour and one or two other ones I have settled with these for now. Took a while to settle on it though. I was simply toying with this idea anyway. Will take some more toying with before I actually bother doing it.

One funny thing about vendors on forums is they are taking a risk as any kind of personality clash will probably lose custom. Most of the Vendors here seem very nice but to take a certain "pure" vendor not on this site for example I will probably never buy from them again. I did once with no real issues. Their liquid seemed fine but even if I loved it I would still stay away. I'm a stubborn git. You seem like a decent bloke trog so being the fickle person I am your wares are on my list for my next irrational purchase :) but it's always a risk for you guys so fair play.

Why not keep selling e-liquid until you are told you can't? I would buy some.

forums are a double edged swords.. they can bite back big time.. but fan boy comment sells the product and in some way forums are the only real means of getting their product out

you pure guy was an ECF moderator.. so were a couple of others.. e cig businesses got built.. now the place is just a rats nest of "too much" but i do see it as the only entry portal newcomers have..

as for the liquid.. we always sold the hardware let folks buy their consumable stuff elsewhere.. call it self defense if the June decision goes the wrong way.. :)

our problems is our customer are too sensible.. they just buy what we sell get on with using and dont do the fanboy stuff elsewhere.. we do kind of smile about this one... he he

Maybe the most popular entry portal but not the only one. I had a good look at a few of the other forums before I settled on this as my favourite (just our bleeding luck I here you all cry). I like the mix of people here, the relative lack of noise and clutter, the distinct lack of fanboyism and the fact it was very UK centric. I don't see why UKV shouldn't continue to grow along with the British market, assuming it doesn't get wrecked all too soon by TPTB.

And Trogg, whilst I'm not in the market for one myself, I reckon the Screwdriver is one of the best mods going when you take all factors into account. It's got good looks, an excellent record and is very competitively priced. I would have thought it sells itself, as long as people know about it.
