Did the promised meeting between the MHRA and ECITA ever take place?--and if so what was the outcome. Also what do you think of the new venture by Terry Leahy/ Peter Davis ( ex sainsburys chairman) and Kind Consumer Ltd.?

Don't know about the MHRA meeting Badger. Katherine (Doodlebug - ECITA admin) has been ill so might have dropped the idea.
Could you give some more info or a link about the Kind Consumer Ltd story? Ta.

This looks like the story you're talking about Badger - http://tobaccoreport...id=498&art=4711
I don't think it will beat ecigs with a medical price tag and no vapour.

Nicoventures, a new subsidiary of British American Tobacco, has entered into a joint venture with the start-up company, Kind Consumer, to develop and market a non-tobacco nicotine inhalation device that will mimic the ‘psychological rituals and routines’ of smoking ...
... the product contained no tobacco, created no heat and delivered no smoke. It delivered “just clean medicinal nicotine”.

Katherine's been feeling much better for several weeks now. She and Tom have been hard at it. Work, that is. I'm expecting good news ECITA-MHRA-wise in the fullness of time.

Hi guys,
Sorry for the long silence. Yes, I'm all better now, and yes, we did meet with MHRA. We've been rolling out the internal audit programme, which is time-absorbing (to say the least!), hence our being rather quiet on the forum, but it's all better than good, and more information will be forthcoming very soon.
Cheers,
Katherine
