Ok so I'm 1 week into vaping and 1 week off the cigs, the plan was to be over the worst of not smoking while away with work - which I think I am. I'm flying home on Friday, when we were both smoking we did it outside so my question is, is it safe to vape in the house? I have 2 kids a 7 and a 4 year old. :bulgy-eyes:

cheers

No Problems on the health front,

but make sure the kids know that they are not cigarettes and not to try to copy you.

mine are 9 & 17 so no problems there

Only moved to vaping around 7 weeks ago and never smoked in the house anyway BUT I have started to now because I know it really will not affect my 3 daughters or my wifes health in any way...Plus at 18, 14 and 14 (Twins) they are old enough to understand that it is not smoking!

Vape away in complete safety!

I buy from anyone who sells good products at the right price, even quit kit vendors.

It isn't the vaping that is dangerous, it is simply the risk that the liquid might be accidentally mistaken for a drink by young children...so make sure you keep it out of harms way.....soory if that is teaching you to suck eggs...but as I say that is the only real risk.....

Just to update, the wife's off the cigs and on the riva too. Only she's forced the outside rule as she's concerned that if you can smell the vapour after leaving the room and coming back in then there must be nicotine in the air. What you's think and what can I show her to prove otherwise?

cheers

At the end off the day - different people will tell you different things about whether there is Nicotine in the air or not and if it will cause harm or not.

I have heard that there is relatively little Nicotine in what you vape and that it disperses quite quickly. There is certainly no real smell from the vapour (except possibly the flavouring used) BUT my advice would be that if you are at all worried by it then just do what YOU think is right for you and your family and if that means vaping outside or in another room then - make it so...!!!

Best advice i've read on this board.

Nice one Midimanni.

Your kids are worth everything, if in doubt do what you feel is best and go outside while they're about.

Having said that, nicotine (although addictive) is not harmful unless as AV says, you drink it..then it's very dangerous of course.

Nicotine is actually prescribed to kids for therapeutic reasons, calms ADD, ADHD kids down, and can help Obese kids with weight loss as an appetite suppressant.

I remember reading somewhere that the nicoteen in the vapour you inhale is absorbed very quickly, and that what you exhale has only a trace of nic left. that said, if in doubt, midimans advice is good.;)
